So for starters, let’s talk about Tyron Hopper. Dude’s a good player. He requested to go in the portal and they put him in immediately by accident without waiting the 48 hours they’re permitted to try to talk him out of it so they pulled him out. Now he’s back in it as he wants out.

So they know it’s a loss but they think they have Perkins coming and a lawyer on the gaytor slush fund committee said they aren’t being outbid by aTm right now for the NIL. Now Perkins de-commits and they are in the driver’s seat they figure unless it’s a JSU thing again and I’m rooting for JSU but figuring he’s a gaytor… Until…

Y’all know him, I know him - we all love him - @SouthParkCane says in a thread here - watch out for LSU… they won’t be outbid.

How glorious. Imagine Hopper goes and Perk goes to LSU? Evers is gone and they replaced him with Max Browne??? They just added a low 3 star TE who’s the next Gronk???

I said in one of those screenshots that they manufactured an elite recruiting and X’s and O’s Coaching staff in their heads. Napier isn’t close to Mario as a recruiter and he isn’t close to the OC play caller that Mullet is. Corey Raymond is their only saving Grace. They’re laughing at our staff with guys from Oregon??? They’re laughing that we had an Elite day without a full staff

They have a full staff… look at their recruiting results right now.

The question is, will the Gaytors "get credit" for being the reason that Perkins decommits? Because they were **** sure proud of being the reason that Justin Fields decommitted a few years ago (even though Fields didn't end up putting on the Gaytors hat).

This recruiting year is huge as we have them scheduled in 2024,can’t wait for the next round of tears.

Didn’t think it could be possible, but this guy is a worse recruiter than Mullet.

This is just a horrifically bad sign for the future of their program, and I love it. And I’m also gonna love reading all the comments trying to justify this disaster of a recruiting class.

He’s. recruiting great…just the guys he’s recruiting aren’t worth a sHT…they said he could recruit.They never said he could recruit decent players…😝

I’m sure he did fine at ULL but this is a different game. He was at Bama under Saban. I’m sure he knows but he doesn’t seem to be like Kirby or Mario as a recruiter.

What the **** is going on over there? Gapier pushed out a few of Mullen’s decent recruits to make room for a bunch of guys with no P5 offers? I mean, I get finding the occasional diamond in the rough, project type player but every week they sign another guy who isn’t even listed in the top 1000. These guys aren’t just 3 star player because there’s plenty of good 3 star guys. These guys are low end 3 star players. No team that serious about contending should have more than a handful of players like this on their entire roster, let alone in one recruiting class.

He is their Golden
 
I mean, it’s not like every recruit he’s gotten is low rated, Etienne, Kamari Wilson, and Shemar James immediately come to mind, and by all accounts there is a high probability he gets Matthews and Perkins as well. Definitely a better recruiter than Mullen ever was, not that that’s saying much. Wait and see approach will be taken.
