Good lord, MastaBator has officially lost his *****...
First he gets mad that we are "trashing" Corral (who, as Dee pointed out in another thread, just tried to commit to UM). As if we are the first and only fanbase to take notice of Corral's problems. It is well-known information that he had to change schools after the fight with Gretzky. And it was USC who cut ties with Corral (though they can call it "mutual", no school ever backs off "mutually"). Then, this 5-star Cali kid can't get a sniff from any in-state schools and flips to ONLY considering east coast schools. And whether the Gators think we should put stock in all of the alcohol and pills rumors, the big picture is pretty powerful. This kid is the 2018 version of Chad Kelly (Mr. Irrelevant) or Kevin Olsen, but we should just ignore everything because he is a 5-star. Right. Look, I don't know Matt Corral personally, but Gainesville would be the worst place on the planet for the kid, given the Gators' track record with substance-abusing rage-monsters, one of whom just committed suicide in jail.
And then MastaBator goes into the tired trope of telling us about all the kids who are "lining up to decommit". Yeah, yeah, the usual suspects, none of whom has, you know, ACTUALLY decommitted. But it's "any day now", as National Signing Day gets closer and closer. Hey, I'll be the first to admit that if we crap the 8-4 bed again, we could lose a couple of kids from the top of this class. It's so funny to see the Gaytors brandishing their floppy sword of "this UM recruit will decommit", when they can't even get Randy Russell locked down. ****, UM has a better shot with OUR decommits than the Gaytors do. Look, Gaytor fans, why don't you tell us when your "decommit" rumors are REALLY REALLY true, because I have stopped believing in all of your prior incorrect predictions.
Then the MastaBator goes on to BRAG about the "5 star QB" (who they won't get) and the "best OT in Florida" (who they probably won't get) and to tell us that we have recruited like "poopie" at those positions. Now, setting aside the fact that MastaBator would rip off his left ******** to get N'Kosi Perry to put on orange-and-blue, we are sitting on a Rivals 100 QB, and multiple 4-star offensive linemen who signed 5 months ago or are committed to sign 7 months from now. A better and more accurate use of the word "poopie" would be to apply the word to the Gaytors current commit list.
Finally, MastaBator tries to downgrade former Gaytor targets by calling them "3-stars" (when "3-star" is the mean, median, and mode rankings for their current commit list). Look, I realize this is a 24-7 board, but Rivals simply has the most, and most accurate, bunch of evaluators. We can argue individual scores for individual guys, but Rivals still does a better overall job than any other board at evaluating talent. And, according to Rivals, those OLs that the Gaytors "don't want" are 4-star recruits.
Keep it up, MastaBator, you are such a jealous, but entertaining, Gaytor fan.
