Not trying to be overly critical. Arteaga was given an unhappy fan base, a changing college baseball landscape, and unreasonable expectations.

I've attached my name to the fact he wouldn't have been my choice. I own that.

Trying to be fair to him, but this team is not meeting my expectations from a tactical standpoint.

He wouldn’t have been ANYONE’s choice.

That’s the problem.

He wouldn’t be a head coach at any other program in America. Except a 4 time national champion and one of the 10 best (5?) programs in the history of the sport.

The decision makers for this university need to be castrated. Quickly.
