What excuse do you want? We lost the game and our Defense sucked. What are you looking for?

Al definitely deserves credit for turning Temple around. However, his track record tops out at 9-4 in the MAC. Unquestionably not a small feat, but also not on par with the coaches on this level who have had major success (conference/national titles). He's demonstrated that he can take a really ****** situation and make major improvements. The guy has a great plan and has changed the culture of the program completely. I have little doubt that he's the perfect man for the job, but the possibility does indeed exist that he might not be a great one. Not saying he won't be, just pointing out that we don't know yet. That's all.

Al definitely deserves credit for turning Temple around. However, his track record tops out at 9-4 in the MAC. Unquestionably not a small feat, but also not on par with the coaches on this level who have had major success (conference/national titles). In the worst case scenario, Golden makes major improvements and more importantly, guides us through this NCAA bulshyt and leaves the program stronger than when Radio left. After 2 HC's who turned this once Cadillac program into an Edsel, I'll take it.

VT spanked the **** out of us. That was FSU's last year with Bobby as a HC so we pulled out a close one. OU had the worst season they had had in years. We still lost to UNC that year because Butch owned Radio. Then Radio capped the season off in embarrassing fashion losing to Wisconsin. But it was cold in Orlando that night so that was understandable.

Serious question, where is this great win from 2009? The teams who were any good that year blasted us...

Butch has at least done something in his career and has the best eye for talent in the country. What's Golden's excuse for being Mike London's ****?

That "competent" head coach who sat on all 3 of his timeouts, while our DL was gassed and couldn't even get lined up properly on 3 plays, and let UVA march right down the field and win the game.

But, because he can form proper sentences, he's some sort of genius. Dannyboycane can form proper sentences as well. That doesn't make him any less of a ******.

How is it a joke? The only things that are pointed to when the discussion of whether or not Al's "the guy" surfaces is 1. Golden's physical appearance (ghey, but whatever?), 2. How well Golden addresses the media/speaks and 3. Golden's organizational skills/3 Penny films.

None of the afforementioned, save "maybe" organizational skills, has much do do with winning ballgames..which is the true measure of whether or not a specific coach is "the guy".....just sayin'....

Ahh yes, the typical "it's all the stupid players' fault. Coaches never get any blame" argument that's become a staple with this staff. Funny how you of all people even decide to open your mouth considering how you lambasted anyone who didn't ride with Shannon until the bitter end. But I guess the one thing you've got going for you is that at least you're consistent with your blind homerism, while others just flip flop their arguments and hinge their allegiance based on which coach can speak properly.
