Winston looks legit. Probably shouldn't be crowned and I hope he has a Kyle Wright-esque first game was his best game- career, but so far the dude looks like an upgrade over Emanuel with a lot of upside.

Winston plays one half of football against a team that isn't covering anyone, and Canes fans are busting out the annointing oils. Feh.
 
His ability to evade the rush while maintaining his vision downfield is elite, especially for a freshman. Great QBs can move around in the pocket and just feel the rush without breaking a play. He has that. That's hard to teach.

This guy is real.
 
E.J. Manuel is about to be a starting NFL quarterback so I wouldn't trash him so quick, On a lot of these throws Winston is making plays on the fly and he is bigger than I thought. We don't see em till Nov so not really concerned right now we need to beat ***** *** Florida; like Lamartacus said at least FSU will play us.

Not only can Pitt not cover anyone, they can't tackle anyone either.

How many times have they had a play dead for negative yards tonight only to miss the tackle? Another one there.
 
I don't care if it's -40 degrees in Pittsburgh, Miami better obliterate this defense.

The talent around Winston is certainly helping him elevate his game...and not to mention this Pitt team
is not even mid level competition...they are getting hosed by these WR's...and TE...

I think we need to see a lot more game file before we anoint him the next greatest

He still to me looks like an Athlete playing QB and not a QB that is an Athlete...but JMO...
 
Give a 10 yard cushion to suspect play makers with a redshirt freshman quarterback in his first start:

That and they are so quick to want to be the "rational miami fan". Like that matters. Be as rational as you want. They'll still hate you.
