That hasn't stopped schools like A&M and Nebraska. They've done well in other sports and they certainly have a wealthy alumni.
The difference is that UCLA alumni aren't sports crazy, at least the revenue sports. UCLA is unique in the fact that outside of basketball, and occasionally baseball, the bulk of their athletic success comes in nonrevenue sports. They have a huge athletic department but they've ran up crazy debt competing, hence the needed move to the B1G.

I could be wrong, I thought we owned it and sold it just a few years ago but I’m just going off memory
it has been a public park since 1976 (we celebrated the Bicentennial there).

the only thing we had was a not-so-wet-dream by @rok that people would tote themselves and their tailgate belongings (tents, coolers, BBQs, tables etc.) down MIller Road in the heat of the midday sun through imaginary sidewalks that don't exist to and from Tropical Park. that's all we have ever had. a pipe dream.

fun facts.
1. it originally was within the City of Coral Gables' city map.

2. i may have done many fun things you would not imagine in the former horse stables turned picnic areas.

Makes sense.

Touch Grass and then hit the bricks. There, I said it. I'll never understand why people like you bother to cheer for a University that stands for everything you hate so much. The University of Miami isn't Alabama, it sure as **** isn't LSU. If you don't like it, cheer for Liberty. Cheer for the schools where a student-athlete is a hero on Saturday, but the community refuses to recognize their humanity on Sunday. That isn't Miami and as an alum, I'm proud that my alma mater will never be that way.
Sometimes the truth just hurts. I get it.

UM needs a rockstar after the Frenk disaster.
I've worked with a number of rockstars. trust me we don't want one as the next president

You ****ed a horse. I KNEW IT!

Kidding. I’ve been stuck inside of MIA for far too long. I think I’d **** a horse right now if it would get me back to Atlanta.
