Did you ever watch his HS tape? This was a stretch from the jump. Sure, they liked his frame but the kid had cement feet.Even with the move to 105 he wasn’t good enough?

Wasn’t my offer lol don’t know what they saw in him thenDid you ever watch his HS tape? This was a stretch from the jump. Sure, they liked his frame but the kid had cement feet.
No way. ThisEveryone is making at least $100k right now at Miami.
Hasn’t started yet. No settlement so far. SEC capped it at 85 for ‘25.Even with the move to 105 he wasn’t good enough?
Waste of space. kick rocks, dorkie frankie tiny-lau.
Every questionable commit is the next Cooper. Except Cooper is the only Cooper and it has been 4 years. Why would it?
****'s happening all over CFB. Many kids like this used to stay, it's not happening today

except some coaches that matterEveryone is making at least $100k right now at Miami.
If you haven’t noticed the best players aren’t in the portal anymore at the same rate they were before. Highschool recruiting and development is kingNo, fsu ended up where they are because instead of doing what they were doing before which was taking portal players who were the best player or one of the top 3 best players on their respective teams they decided to take high potential players who contributed nothing to their respective teams.
As I understand it is doneHasn’t started yet. No settlement so far. SEC capped it at 85 for ‘25.

This certainly is an understatement. There's like 6 posters on this board who take that stance.
40% of our starting OL this year were 3* specials signed in '22. Tinilau/Tripp/Francavilla were misses. Kinsler & Plazz are TBD. That's a 40% hit rate on 3* OL.Another 3 star special from the OL gurus
Unless they hit in which case it was excellent... If you miss 5 of these type of projects and hit on one that's sometimes all you need. We need to get a top 5star day 1 starter type OT like Mauigoa every 3 years. That’ll be the two projects at tackle this cycle in a couple of years
Nico is a miss after 1 year?40% of our starting OL this year were 3* specials signed in '22. Tinilau/Tripp/Francavilla were misses. Kinsler & Plazz are TBD. That's a 40% hit rate on 3* OL.
The OL we have brought in since Mario got here:
HS: Cooper, McCoy, Mauigoa, Okunlola (x), Tripp (x), Kinsler (TBD), Tinilau (x), Plazz (TBD), Minaya (TBD), Francavilla (x), SJ (TBD), Buchanan (TBD), Wilkerson (TBD), Campbell (TBD)
Portal/JUCO: Denis (x), Sagapolu (x), Cristobal (x), Lee, Cohen, Bell, Carpenter
14 I think you can make a call on. We've hit on 7 of them (50%). A very astute poster ( @Rellyrell ) made a great point in another thread:
The elite teams r hitting at 33%+ EVERY cycle all the way to the portal.
We're hitting above that rate (or at it if you want to include Kinsler as a miss) with 3* OL. We're well above it when you consider all OL recruiting.
I included him because we immediately recruited over him with SJ, and I don't think he has the size to play any other place but CNico is a miss after 1 year?
