Yes, you are correct. I know several recruits in this recent class, and they are going to make around 150k a year for 2 years with the chance to renegotiate after that. Some are making more than that but the mechanics of how they decide what everyone gets is something I am not aware of.

Projects just not worth it in this day and age. Take a medium size class of studs with maybe 1-2 long term projects then take a bunch of established portal kids .

No, fsu ended up where they are because instead of doing what they were doing before which was taking portal players who were the best player or one of the top 3 best players on their respective teams they decided to take high potential players who contributed nothing to their respective teams.

Tired of wasting space in HS classes on projects. Gone are the days of stashing away players with potential for 2-3 years. Should only sign guys ready to contribute right away, and save the rest of the money and resources for the portal.

That's not feasible. You're not able to just recruit starters. 33% is good. Not 100%
