I understand why Miami fans would be ****ed but yes, all HS coaches should have the responsibility to get the players who have ability to play at the next level seen by as many coaches as possible...regardless of school. Fandom shouldn't play into kid's futures.

One of my HS coaches went to UGA and walk-on there. My senior year he drove me down to a UF camp because that's where I wanted to camp. And wore his UGA **** the entire time LOL. Point being, if coaches are really looking out for kids then they can't allow themselves to let hatred of rival teams cloud that view. I'm not sure why you guys think Miami coaches have an obligation to send all their players to UM. I get why you guys would prefer that, but its not at all realistic. What about the kids who have camped at UM and didn't receive an offer? The coaches shouldn't bus them anywhere else to try and pick up one?

No offense, because I like you, but I don't give two ***** about what a Gator thinks about the situation. If Gainesviille put out tons of kids and their coaches were taking them to Miami and LSU and Florida State and Georgia every spring you guys would frame them for murder or worse. And pretending that this stuff is all on the up and up and just mentor-folks looking out for kids is incredibly naive. That's a general statement, not directed at anyone in particular or Luke.

Like I said before, I understand why you guys would want them to bus hordes of kids to Miami. I'd hope a coach in Gainesville would bus hordes of kids to UF too but if not, so be it. But let's be honest, we only think like that because we're fans and we'd want every local kid to go to the school.

There are opportunists out there who bus these kids to schools for ulterior motives...we all know it. But I know Luke has taken kids to Miami camp as well. Wasn't he just coaching at a Golden camp? So it seems kinda crazy to get all upset about a picture at FSU a week removed from bussing a bunch of kids to UM. They're going to some other schools like UCF and NC St. too, so it's not like he's bussing all these kids to Bama and LSU to get a pay day. All I'm saying is at least see both sides of the story. If you want to go in on a cat like Genron then go ahead because he has a past. But from everything I've ever seen Luke ain't in that category.

You can ask coach Jimbo and his staff and they will tell you how much of a cane fan I am I'm the only person to let them know how I feel about them beating us an we're going to get them this year. Keep in mind some of the kids that we take out on these college tours here at Miami Norland Senior High have never left their community for them to go and see a college campus it opens their eyes to education like no other. This is a big fkin problem with a lot of fans that r on twitter saying stupid ****, there's so many fans who can't look at anything logically because of there blind hatred. Exactly. His first loyalty should be to those he's coaching. He would be a pretty **** poor coach if he didn't take every opportunity to become a better coach as well and expand his circle of connections.

If you consider those two things, he'd be a fraud (which some of you already thinks he is) were he not to expose his players to one of the better programs in the land.

As a side note, you can be a fan of something but also in turn know it might not be a good fit or place for someone you're coaching. Would you really send a player or kid of yours here right now versus some of the other top programs? I know I wouldn't and that's thinking with my head, not heart.

Reading some of these comments makes me realize who gets South Florida recruiting and who doesn't.

I wish every mentor in South Florida was like Luke. If that was the case we would get every elite player coming out. But you guys want to complain about us not getting these 4 and 5 star players and how they are going elsewhere.

We are talking about a glorified Community College (No offense to all the actually great CCs out there.) and prison preschool here. what I mean by 'best" isn't how much booster money goes into the kids' pockets but rather the kid's future both on and off the field.

also, UM gets football teams "bused" down to their campus as well.

The kids in south Florida already get all the exposure they need. We are sitting in the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country. Schools from all over the country flock HERE to look at prospects. Why go elsewhere?? They already come to us....

Also the top tier kids getting recruited are already going to get 5 free all expenses paid trips to anywhere they pretty much choose in the U.S.

Its called smoke in mirrors.... bring up a bunch of kids so they can "camp" but make sure you bring those 4* and 5* guys were recruiting too.
