I shot 6 for 13 from 3 in my half court pickup games today, someone get me coach L’s number I’m ready to contribute

With no Lykes, McGusty, or Timberlake it was rather shocking we even had a chance. There just isn't enough there without them. Wong could have maybe tried to take things over but I'm not sure it would have mattered. We don't have enough depth to go down 2 of our top scorers and beat anyone with a pulse. Also, Wong and Beverly are 2s, not PGs, no matter what coach L says.

Gotta give credit to FGCU for some torrid shooting. Made 13 threes, shot 43% on those. Other side of that is asking what defensive adjustments we considered/made. Whatever they were, they didn't work.

And a lot of those shots were well contended. Perfect combo of a rash of injuries to our top scorers and them catching fire. A brutal but fitting start to last Saturday.
