Winning is nice. Some level of proof of concept is needed at some point but the budget for the bags must always be there. Rudy Fernandez, The Mas Bros, Ruiz, the Soffers and Marcus Lemonis gotta keep making it rain NIL 💰 for us to be a strong recruiting operation. If we close on Pickett and make noise early in the portal we'll know why.

There should be some surprises it’s Mario we talking about here. I doubt he whiffs late

I’m not super excited about DJ as others, when I watch his film it’s like whatever to me lol. I do want Wiley above all and TJ obviously. Those are the recruitments I’m watching right now besides Hanks as well. Usually the portal has more jags than superior players, it’s basically 98% jags and 2% elites. I’m sure we will have guys exit on our team as well that Mario recruited that were eval misses.

Georgia is out here flipping 3* diamonds in the rough from Georgia State and we're complaining about things being quiet? If we were flipping kids from Georgia State, I can guarantee you that even on Thanksgiving, CIS would be going thermo-nuclear. I checked, and its not April 1, so this is a legit flip. Would be funny though if the kid ends up a star.

Man, the OL class this cycle really must be cheeks.

I think Pickett would be an elite safety but what he gives us is amazing speed that we now lack in the secondary. And I agree about the portal. We'd be lucky to land a handful of elite guys in the portal. 4 elite ones and another 4 good ones would be a great portal haul.
