First Scrimmage Thread - BOOM

If Kaaya is head and shoulders above Heaps (something apparently missed by every single media member that has been watching) then he will start and that is that.

Because Susan really pays attention to the finer details of qb production in practices. Every single media member is looking at their iPhone and then waiting to hear what Golden said about the practice. And in the parking lot Susan's brushing her hair with an ivory comb.

That's what I'm saying. y'all believe anything y'all hear.
The people that have been at practice say Heaps has been doing very well. That both QB's have performed very closely. However they are very wrong according to fans who haven't seen anything but a few vine videos. Heaps is doing worse than Kevin Olsen and Brady Kaaya just taught Payton Manning a new throwing technique.

Kaaya is my favorite but this stuff is crazy.

And another thing i noticed is when golden and coley talks about heaps they never mention how accurate he is. All they say is he is mature and have experince.

When they talk about kaaya they talk about his maturity for his age and his accuracy.

Lsu is opening up with a primetime game vs wisconsin and its looking like brandon harris a true freshman at qb along with a frosh rb and wr and their fans aint crying like *******.

If what you stated is fact and happens in reality…they'll be crying after wisky dump trucks that ***.

you forgot to mention that Harris was a early enrollee and also rank the #2 dual threat qb

The media hasn't watched a scrimmage.

Yeah. Who has?

Have you seen the media that "covers football " for us ? Lmao I'm sure smd knows a whole lot about how to breakdown a qb ***** is to busy figuring out how she's gonna ask the dumbest question in the group to watch practice

From my observation Heaps has made good throws but no throws stand out as special. Whereas, Kaaya's has been comparable in overall performance to Heaps but makes three to four throws a practice that just make you take notice and appreciate he could be special. Kaaya also had a miscommunication today with a receiver and threw a duck to crawford for an easy pick 6.

Duke looked electric and had a nasty cutback on Trent Harris that was the play of the scrimmage. Also Chocolate's 25 yard TD run was special, I did not expect him to score with defenders near him from 15 out. Berrios also had nice wiggle on a spin and got yac.

Lastly, the defensive looked faster but I'd attribute the large majority of their performance to better positioning. They seemed to execute the defensive much better with less mental errors.

Brad Kaaya is better than Jake Heaps. Right now. By a lot. He is more accurate, takes less sacks, throws half as many picks, has better movement in the pocket, has better movement outside the pocket, has more arm strength, can see over the line, and makes more throws.

If Brad Kaaya doesn't start, I will be surprised and quite frankly disturbed. This is not based on Vine videos or reporter tweets. That's all I will say about that.

This. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Dmoney spent an entire summer from the UM parking garage talking about how great Kirby Freeman is playing.

I said Freeman was playing great in practice because he was playing great in practice. Who won the job? I never said Freeman would be a great player, just stated the fact that he was beating Wright out on Greentree.

As for Morris, I thought he was ready to take the next step after spring. So did our coaches. So did a lot of people who get paid for this. The moral of the story is that you never know how practice performance will translate to games. But that's all we have to go on when it comes to Heaps and Kaaya.

I believe Pete just uses #staytuned

Every reporter is saying that it's a close race but you are the only one saying Kaaya is walking away with it. Sorry not buying that.
I am, hes not the only one, his OC said he acts like hes 30 and his ultra conservative HC said he has ZERO reservations playing him at Louisville
And Duke Johnson said that Heaps can read the defense better and Kaaya has trouble with it. So what is your point?
that quote was from like the 2nd practice in, I would start putting more weight on the recent stuff
Lol

That quote was from like a week in. At the earliest it was Sunday/Monday. That's about 4-5 practices.

This is a very simple equation to solve

Heaps= Definite Corch
Kaaya = Possibly Coach (at least Coarch)

Name another great coach who didnt start the more promising Freshman..over the more experienced JR/SR.Stoops did it, Butch Did it, yall are some flucking fools if ya dont believe this... If we dont have an all ACC QB on our team you start the freshman...If Golden starts Heaps he is who we thought he was

Kaaya threw the 30 yard pass to duke down the middle saw jake heaps get 3 balls batted down , d jack is a beast of the edge kid is gonna swat a lot of passes in his career also saw fentress (I think) line up right of dp , didn't see much only about 25 mins and god is our field goal kicking awful lol #18 which is believe is goudis freaking was kicking em like 10 yards short no lie

UM’s defense deflected seven passes (four at the line of scrimmage) and produced six tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions — UM’s report did not name the offending quarterbacks — and a forced fumble.

Duke, Joe, Gus and my ni gga Choc better be ready to tote it.

Great examples. Cause none of those coaches started the true freshman. Stoops started a redshirt and Butch started Dorsey halfway through the year after the starter was injured. And Dorsey was terrible in losses in his first couple games on the road. VT-99 and UW-2000.

Jimbo didn't in 2012

Money D, is this a compliment to Kaaya or a backhand at Jake? If a little bit of both, which way more? Important that you explain.

Kaaya is the realest of deals and Heaps (while a worthwhile insurance plan) is what he is. This should be Russell Wilson and Matt Flynn.

Rosier is playing the part of Tarvaris Jackson?

From freeman over wright. Morris gonna be a high draft pick to tebow gonna be a star in the nfl. I wanna believe D$ but that track record of qb evals is rough.

Well, ****

Susan uses a comb? Hah! And Manny's big into Crossfit.
