First CFP Rankings

Tried to tell y'all they want 8 sec/big in..leaves 4..one ACC, one B12, Domers and one g5
Watch n see

If that were true we'd be ranked around where BYU is.

The reality is the CFP just gave us a lot of respect and opened the door to 2 ACC bids. We have two paths:

1. ACC Title (auto bye into quarters).
2. 12-0 regular season + ACCCG loss (at-large, likely road rd 1 game).

With how much tougher SEC and Big Ten schedules just got and even lighter the ACC with this stupid Stanford-Cal move, I would just come to terms quick with it on not waste your breath. You’re going to pretty much have to win the ACC or have one loss with a nice win to get in (Maybe) We need out of the conference

Bro Indiana has a SOS of 103. Cal would be one of the hardest games. And we have a better SOS than Texas (and just 1 spot behind Oregon).

Ya'll gotta stop slurping SEC/Big 10 so much. With how big these conferences are now you have teams playing brutal schedules (like UF) and then someone like Indiana playing a ****** G5 caliber schedule

Losses don’t matter in those leagues. It’s been proven over and over. They only care about wins. Because UGA beat Texas in Austin, who cares they lost a game? Because Taint beat Pedo State in happy valley, who cares they lost a game? Losses don’t matter. They’re simply quality non-wins. The quality wins matter.

Yes. "Quality Non-Wins". QNWs. This will be the hot new stat that the SEC and Big 10 use to justify their stranglehold on the CFP.

QNWs, *******!

He really said that? LOL.

So Texas gets credit for beating Oklahoma, who is straight garbage, because they were ranked at the time? FOH. **** is such a TV show. All entertainment value. We need a governing body over this **** so badly. That isn’t in bed with the television networks and conferences, obviously.
He’s also staunchly in the “last year’s champion is the default #1 team until they lose” camp. Doesn’t matter if they lost all 22 starters from the prior season. They’re the number one team until they lose.

You say that, and yet...

Look, if Alabama loses another game and Vanderbilt keeps winning, it will make Alabama's loss to Vanderbilt that much more impressive...
Don’t think that matters. They are just getting a lot of credit for the uga win. But I don’t see a 3 loss team getting in unless it’s a conference champ.

I get what some of y’all are saying but a lot of these teams still have big games left to play like a Indiana still has osu

Man imagine this defense against bama or Texas
This game will be like 60-55
I just can’t see this team holding either to less that 50
I dont know. I sit next to a Bama fan and he is terrified of Miami. Bama does not do anything well on offense and they seem to think their offense wont be able to keep up with CAM & Co and Bama's OL is not really good. They want Georgia or Ohio State.

thats why we would win 60-55 hahahaha
i think this offense can score on anyone
we just need to hold teams to below 35 and its a guarantee win

Again, you can say whatever you want. Yet this summer, you had Florida fans talking about how if they had "only" 4 losses against their (seemingly) brutal schedule, they might get in.

A lot depends on the final 3-4 games. We have seen "Top 12" teams lose to lesser teams this season. There is no clearcut "best" team or teams. All of the undefeated teams have had a couple of close calls. And the teams that HAVE lost? Oh, yeah, those are QNWs.

The point, as always, it that it's such a fine line between stupid and clever.* If Miami loses one game, we could easily drop to 13.
