Ole Miss.... they'll do anything to hype the SEC even more. Might as well rank Vandy, Miss St, Kentucky, Tennessee and Arky while your at it

UNC is suppose to be that good? Lville didnt make it yet people act like we have no shot. Honestly, i would not want to get in Bama's way this year. Saban will be out for blood.

I don't care really much about preseason polls because they mean absolutely nothing. Good bulletin board material? Of course. However I will say how in the **** is NC ranked that high? Also UCF and Marshall? Lol UCF is going to be back to their usual selves without Bortles and Storm.

We also have Cincinnati who is right behind us at #40 so at least 7 of our opponents are ranked in the preseason top 40. I know preseason rankings do not exactly mean much but they exist lol. I was surprised that GT didn't get a single vote.

This is the first I can remember since I started following the team in 1984 I feel we will shock folks.

We might have a playoff but the tried and true practice of overranking $EC teams prior to every season so as to preserve their conference strength of schedule myth is still in full effect. Ain't no bad losses in the good ol' $EC when every team is ranked!

Oklahoma is overrated the Alabama game was a fluke.

UNC is grossly overrated, I never seen a team picked to win a division after losing to all the top teams in that SAME division the previous year. VT, Miami, & Duke all beat North Carolina, doesn't make sense....

FSU has a "cake walk" to the playoffs the only team(s) that have a chance against FSU are Florida and Miami (and maybe Louisville).

why should GT get any votes. Their talent and depth has dwindled significantly over the years. I highly doubt they will make a bowl this year.

UNC #23 lol, thats why its a pre-season poll, they open up with Liberty so i guess you can base it off that, trust me there Defense will suck again this yr. I live in Raleigh and rep my Canes to the fullest and my son is a UNC fan so he catches **** from me everyday about the so called pre-season ranking. UNC has a brutal stretch of 7 games with 5 out of the 7 being on the road so they will not fair well imo, but oh well all i know is there is a "STORM BREWING"...Go Canes!!!

The last time only one Florida team was ranked in the AP preseason top 25 was 1983. In 1983 Miami was unranked with a freshman QB, we all know how that ended. Does history dare repeat itself?

Don't understand how anyone can make a list without seeing a game.

Their list are guesses that affect real votes down the line.

Start after a few games and after actually watching THIS years teams.
