If Miami plays their A game or even their B game, tonight’s outcome could’ve been different. UConn played very well, but we missed an absolutely unheard of 14 layups. Some of that was their size and length, but we also blew a ton of good looks. Just seemed like we short armed so many shots tonight.

Also, Omier was completely outplayed by Sonogo. Amazing season, but this one will sting for a while, especially knowing a super beatable SDSU would’ve been our opponent for the title.

Totally. UConn is great, but we beat ourselves tonight and they’re lucky that we missed those layups.

Coach L looked defeated right there. Can’t blame him though. Final Fours runs are so tough and to watch one melt away in that fashion, has to be hard. Everything happened the exact opposite way of how he wanted it too. And most of it was by the team’s own doing.
Honestly its on him, If I can watch highlights of Adama and see in highlights that if you leave Adama WIDE open he will shoot the three, what kind of game plan is it to tell Omier not to even take a step towards him and no one even step to him and play ANY defense.. That set the tone, 3 threes.. We are down from tip..

Adama even said he paused to see if he would close on him and he took his time.. wtfff

Most fun sports season I’ve personally ever had the pleasure to watch. Will remember it forever, god willing
Completely agreed. What a magical season, ACC regular season co-champs, and then the magical run through the NCAA Tournament. It was a season for the ages, I’m so glad I got the chance to witness the Magic again after 2022. Let’s reload gents and do it all over again!!! This time making the title game!!!

I don’t disagree. He does shoot about 35% from out there, but I believe he also hadn't made one all tournament. It was a gamble and it burned him. He also drove right by Omier on a close out late in the game too.

Was never gonna be easy to beat that team if they made perimeter shots. That was the difference. Their advantage inside was obvious before and after. The game was gonna be won or lost by our guards. Tonight theirs were better. Too much to overcome.

I doubt he took many wide open looks in tourney also.. He is not Walker shooting.. He doesnt take alot from outside but he has decent percentage and if you leave him wide open he will take them.. If I can watch a few games of uconn on youtube and see that, it has to be on scouting report.. Omier didnt even move.. at the beginning of game.. I can take him getting beat inside but play some defense man, cant be scared of drawing fouls from open tip that you just give up everything.. I dont get it..

He even said in presser that he waited and no one came out on him.. smh
