Final 2024 Class Rankings

On3 currently updating now…. ESPN just randomly updated their top 300 and dropped final rankings. Below is all you need to know about ESPN changes for canes.

JoJo: 25th (-7)
Scott: 30th (-7)
Blount: 31st (-3)
Carr: 43rd (+3)
Pickett: 48th (+114!)
Hayes: 78th (N/A)
Jones: 101st (+8)
Lightfoot: 107th (+29) - this is a joke
Patterson: 143rd (-26)
Lofton: 211th (-3)
Chance: 219th (-5)
Rudolph: 271st (+3)

At some point they’re going to have to stop taking their input into account l.

They’ve gutted the whole god**** department.
 
SO blount is probably going to lose his 5th star since On3 seems like they dropped him a ton. But lightfoot gets his 5th star.

Blount might keep his in composite depending on how far it dropped. Not shocking considering his age and reclassification. I said earlier last week that was a possibility though

Lightfoot comes in at 10th overall on On3 final rankings

Justin Scott at 11. Blount dropped out of top 32.

Hayes is due for a drop similar to what Malik Bryant had, a little inconsistent at UAA practice and had a rough game. I’d expect 50 spot drop in composite -
Hayes goes from 79th to 243rd on On3, might’ve been kind when I said 50 spot drop. He will drop over 75 spots in final.

Do we know if 247s composite is fully updated? I’d think Pickett would be higher given his rankings across the 4 services but wasn’t sure.

We had 3 possible 3 stars bumping up to 4 stars. Pruitt, Mack and Markel Bell. Mack bumps up in the composite to a 4 star. Any update on Bell or Pruitt?
 
For all the complaining we do Jordan Lyle is the number 1 running back in the country on On3 (shocking development), Booker Pickett went from Composite top 300 player to top 100 and Lightfoot made a meteoric rise to top 10 player in the country and ranked ahead of Dylan Stewart on On3 and Rivals.

I realize it sounded like hedging when Riley was looking shaky but I’ve said for a while I thought Lyle looked better on tape than Riley. I think he’s going to be **** good. I haven’t watched the guys that we weren’t in the mix for but a service having him as a fringe 5 star doesn’t shock me at all.

What did they see in Judd to make them bump him up 400 spots? What did all the other sites and (non sunshine pumping) eyes on him miss that their geniuses didn't? What's the justification to rank him ABOVE Patterson. Ask anyone besides On3 which player they'd rather have and the answer would be unanimous.

Forget averages. The TOTAL of Patterson's 3 other rankings combined is still lower than On3's 293.

That's the problem with recruiting sites. Somebody always has to take the contrarian point of view in an attempt to stand out.

Luckily for all of us we will get to see what is real and what is not. Happy for the kid if he cares.
