This didn't have to be Duke Johnson/Denzel Perryman committing this crime...it's Miami football players being bad again, and that's always good enough for the media. Especially given that they have admitted to drugging the victim and getting her drunk.

They'll want the sordid details of the incident because that drives ratings and viewership. The fact that James/the University acted in a swift manner in dismissing these guys for said sordid affair? Yeah...that won't be what gets the coverage front-and-center...that will likely be a footnote at the end of the report on SC/CFB Live.
