Emory… also not hurt

He did. Coaches didn't do him any favors though.

Cant just throw a guy to the wolves like that.

Also how well is he supposed to play when you run on 1st and 2nd down and put him in obvious passing situations?

Kinda hamstrings him
Blame the coaches for the eval but the plan was always for him to play the second half. He was never thrown to the wolves

What is interesting to me is how many of the players are posting this on their stories on IG.

Carson on the outside looking in?

He looked like he had never seen a game before. Stop making excuses for the guy. He couldn’t complete screen passes. Dawson tried to get him in rhythm, and he looked terrible. Mentally, he was lacking, it’s obvious that he doesn’t process the game at an acceptable level.

This man has been in Dawson system long enough to be trusted to know what to do and where to go with the ball.

Yet whenever he gets in the game. We result to this super protective offense that doesn't help any QB in football actually succeed.

This isn't 1993. Running up the middle on 1st and 2nd down then expecting him to do anything on 3rd and long is a recipe for failure.

I've never been a fan of Emory ever. I hate his mechanics and his release. He's bound to get the **** ball batted down every time. Yet I find myself defending the young man because that game plan we employ wouldn't even work for Cam. Why is he even on the team if we're afraid to allow him to throw the ball? It's weird.

You can't protect a QB these days. They gotta sling it or they gotta run or they don't need to be on the team.

The reason why they go hyper conservative whenever he gets in the game is because he’s not capable of running the offense. I doubt he’s here after spring. The MAC is probably more his speed.

Thrown to the wolves was Clemson last year. He played better that night. He was bad against Iowa State, real bad.

2nd half of clemson the only part of a game that they let him run anything that resembles a modern offense, says otherwise.

Thrown to the wolves? He was in his second year in the same system and sat all year watching a future 1st round QB and how he handled himself to be able to get himself ready…

Toss in that it was obvious he was always going to play the second half… he **** down his own leg in his audition to prove to the staff that a transfer QB wasn’t necessary. Becks only here for one year and nickel looks like he might be next man up if Emory continues to look like a D2 player at best

I was an Emory fan. Thought he'd make a decent #2 and could fight to be #1 with great development during his redshirt season. Then the bowl happened. That was not a fluke. That was reality. At some point you need to concede the kid is just not good enough to be a Miami or top P4 QB, not even as backup. I think he should transfer. It would be good for him. And I'd rather go with Luke if necessary.

Hey look, yall can quote and reply to me until the sun rises. My stance won't change and I'm not going back and forth about it. I won't reply to you so save your finger energy.

The gameplan, whenever Emory is in the game, absolutely stinks. Emory also stinks. I'm a coaches blamer. I blame coaches for everything.

Why is he even on this team? Why are we selling this kid a dream? If we Dawson can't dial it up like he does with Cam and like he did with Tyler interception throwing *** then why is this young man a QB for the Miami Hurricanes? Tired of seeing that BS Emory playbook. 😒 .

Why "fans" are hating on a kid who has never done anything but the best he can says more about them than him.
Kid is another victim of circumstance -- either he failed or Mario did and Mario never fails, so .. thus, therefore..
