Yea Brock Berllin i dont see as a disappointment so my view is different.

This was a praise for me to Nickel...as Berlin may have been or is a top 5 qb ever coming out of louisiana.

Brock Berlin full time in these offenses would be crazy.....

Nickel does have a stronger arm though more than likely.

Unsolicited opinion:

More pop in his feet. Less mechanical from the clips and even full game I've seen. Some similarities in release and technicalities in throwing motion, which isn't necessarily a bad thing to be similar to Berlin there.

NAW...Luke Nickel weighs the same as Hartman right now as a hs jr let alone from high school.

Sam Hartman was like 180 tops coming out of high school.

Tramell Jones fsu commit is closer to Hartman. Hartman coming out of hs was scambling around playing back yard ball

Yall the qb guys......im an ol /dl guy lol

If he got Berlin's moxy thats another plus. I like Nickel so i didnt want ppl to think of Berlin comp as a diss.

Far from a QB guy, but i do love watching their mechanics and tendencies. From what i've seen, Nickel's best attribute is anticipation/feel. Looks like a kid who's breathed football in the playground, watching it on TV, on the street, and on the field - even if he's had one of those QB trainers (don't know if he has). Man, I'm still involved in K-12 and I'm in awe of how little kids breathe sports unless they're playing the actual game. Lot of kids just do not watch football now. At least not a whole game. Different universe than the 80s and 90s.

I didn't think your Brock comment was negative and I agree. I would take a brock in these offenses EVERYDAY!

Idk man Hartman highlights from his junior year in high school were a lot of stand in the pocket and make a throw. Yeah he has moments where he throws on the run but so does nickel. Hartman ran for 180 yards his junior year which is pretty much the same as nickel last year.

Idk if he has a QB coach, but he's played for Cam Newton's 7on7 team and got coached by him a little
