Brock wasn't the #1 overall player and QB we were hoping for, he for sure wasn't a bad college QB and made more than enough plays and throws throughout his time here. I would take that.

Yes, I posted that comp above. People won't agree bc they are viewing Brock Berlin as a mediocre college qb and nfl failure.

But look at him in HS. A lot of similarities.

Think about this.

The Dallas Cowboys started using the modern shotgun formation (for a NON-injured QB) in 1975. At the time, it was considered an anomaly and the Cowboys were the only team using it regularly AT THAT TIME.

Brock Berlin played at UiF and UM from 2000-2004.

So we have had almost as many years pass SINCE Brock played at UM (20) as there were between the Cowboys introducing the modern shotgun and Brock playing in college (25).

The point is, what seemed soooooo weird in 2000-04 is much more commonplace today.

I wish that Coker had been more open-minded in 2003-04.
