I think its based on the fact of Nick Saban and Alabama as the goats currently. Someone is looking to root for a team to knock the greatest ever off. Once Georgia either matches or surpasses the fans will hate them again and root for the next best thing to challenge them.

Same as the Mahomes and Brady conundrum. People root for Mahomes so he can beat Brady's legacy as it gives them something to root for. Mahomes is seeing more hate tho mostly due to his wife and brother but still would say 60% liked. (Im a falcons fans so I will die happy when mahomes gets 8 rings)

Only person who has been divisive is Lebron. He is at like 50/50 split of people liking him and hating him but its probably due to him basically being neck and neck with Jordan rn while mahomes and georgia are still a bit behind.

That's the key. I hope they do their homework before he signs. Many have found vehicles and property were not actually bought, but leased or rented to late. I am not even sure putting a house in DJ's name could be done under NIL.

Quick question how can tom Brady be the best QB ever when a nice portion of his career he wasnt the best QB in the league

Look, I’m a Jordan guy thru and thru, especially considering that I was 12 years old watching UNC beat G-town for the championship on Jordan’s jump shot, BUT,
Lebron is 39 and doing things that no 39 year old has ever done. In addition to being the all-time scoring leader, Lebron is 4th all time in assists!
By the time he retires, Lebron will be impossible to catch for all time scoring and it won’t be close.

For one game or one series or even one season, give me Jordan. For one championship run I would throw Bill Russell into the conversation.
But for a career, Lebron has made a very strong case for GOAT.

You're judged by Championships not scoring titles. Jordan would probably have 7 if he didn't take off to play baseball.

Longevity don't make you the GOAT....LBJ is/was chasing championship to catch MJ record, but it doesn't matter. He ain't Jordan and he's not even Kobe for that matter. There's nothing wrong with being the 2nd or 3rd greatest player ever!! No matter what he does in MY opinion there is nothing he can do to catch Mike.

We talking about Brady. When did Brady become better than Peyton. Before anyone gets triggered. Peyton Manning was out for a season with his neck injury and the colts won 1 game. 2008 Brady broke his leg Matt Cassell had 3700yds 22 td and they missed the playoffs with a 11 and 5 record. The following season Tom lead them to a 10 and 6 season. If you swap Peyton and Tom during their careers with the pats and indy. No one in their right mind with believe that tom would have won in Indy or that Peyton wouldn't have won in New England. Tom is the greatest winner but not the best player ever. Jerry is the greatest because his records will never be broken that is how dominate and consistent Jerry was.

I grew up watching Mike. At the two guard Mike didn't have much competition to go against look at who he went up against in the finals at the sg position. Kobe for example had Vince Carter ai t Mac Ray Allen Brandon Roy d Wade James harden if you want to just throw in wings LeBron KD Paul George Paul Pierce ginobili melo. MJ never won against stacked teams. Kobe won against stacked teams. Spurs Celtics. Teams with three or more hofers is a stacked team.

That's the problem it can work for and against him! Longevity is padding his stats but if you do a year for year against Jordan he don't compare.and, lack of titles and finals losses will doom him in the end!
