Reminds me of the Cyrus Moss take on the edge. Lot of bend and twitch, but probably won't be physically ready in Year 1 (which is absolutely fine, considering Lightfoot is a dude and the early returns on Bain and Wayne are the absolute truth. Plus Kelly is a dude and Moss has flashed potential). Get Rudolph in this class and have him put on some weight to hold up at the point of attack.

Is he Stewart or Simmons? No but doesn't mean he's bad. It's a start in the right direction, he's a solid edge prospect and we should be perfectly happy. Let's close this baby up.

He's much heavier tho but like you said with a redshirt he'll be a force in his second year opposite Lightfoot

Yup, more physically ready out of high school at least, but just put the comparison out there based off the bend and twitch. Still will probably need a Year of college training and nutrition before we're ready to see if he can crack a two-deep, but he's certainly talented.

He'll probably top out in the 230s or even 240 here but still be a force with his ability off the edge. Plus good we still have Bain, Kelly, Cyrus, & Wayne next year on top off our 2024 guys

Stacking at DE

DT is only the question mark (Corner somewhat, but I think Addae/Guidry know what they're and what they're looking for)

And I wouldn't bet against CMC and staff bringing us in at least a B+ at DT this year by signing day.

He's listed at 205 but I don't think he's over 200 to be honest - which is fine because he's a senior right now. I'd guess somewhere between 193 and 200. Can put on weight this year and the next - has the frame for it most definitely. He just needs to thicken up a tad. You can't teach his twitch + 6'4'' frame.

I think there's a good chance that 1 if not both Bain and Acheapong move to DT next season.Both should be 290+ by then.

Oh I agree

I'm already counting CA as a DT

I'm just saying I think we make this class right at that position. It may not be the A+ we foolishly dreamed of, but I think it's a B+.
 
This would be a good pickup. I’m way more concerned with the interior DLine then Edge as we’ve stacked good on good for a few years now. Even Manny was pumping out good edge players, that shouldn’t be an issue at UM ever.
