Dyron Dye off the team

All this anticipation reminds me of the little band in the titanic movie... Gentlemen it's been a pleasure supporting the U with you.

I really hate what happened to Dye and I wish him the best. But I do wish that some how this means that Julio Derosier can finally be added to the team. He can be another guy like Kamalu that plays both DE and DT, this team really needs the depth for late in the season when we get deep into the conference games.
 
the main reason scam newton got cleared is because the NCAA was making lots of money off his jersey, same with manziel

If dye was in a moneymaker spot for the worthless sacks of ****, that is collectively known as the NCAA, he would be cleared


However when you have people who quit the NCAA come out and say that Emmert targets certain schools and coaches, the only remedy to this situation is abolish the NCAA, remove these clowns from being able to abuse their power


It is criminal that these degenerates have hidden behind the myth of amateurism for the players while the pencil necked geeks make millions off of these kids, whose career can be ended over a combo meal at jack in the box, or a flight home to attend a funeral, it's no surprise that thieves like Emmert are refusing to face the music when he and his corrupt buddies stand to lose so much money

Abolish the NCAA....

Breaking News: Just when you thought Dye was gone. Per Miami insider...Dyron Dye will now go by the name Julio Derosier.

from what I heard the NCAA tells the school what they will be hit with 24 hours before they announce it.. so unless the announcement is tomorrow (which it isn't) allot of these reports won't know because their inside sources are with the Miami program.

regardless of what the outcome is .. its going to cause allot of stir so we all should hope for the best and plan for the worst.

This wasnt the staff's decision, it was Donna's and our lawyers. And at this point, with Donna having publicly slammed the NCAA, you think she is going to kick a player off the team for no good reason? Seriously, think before you post.

Wasn't going to play this year reguardless of his NCAA troubles.
Has bearly contributed in his entire career.
Still gets his education paid for.
I don't really see what the issue is here.

What a bummer.

And while I'd like to think there were a lot of thoughtful, knowing behind-the-scenes moves in this scenario, I think this miserable process has shown that there's less communication behind the curtain than you'd think or hope.

Oh, and **** the NCAA.
 
This decision is only made by the Attorneys in concert with the NCAA. They were likely told that he was going to be ineligible. Buzz seems to be we get the verdict thursday or Friday. I'm sure we won't be happy.

I think it's a good sign. If we made the decision in concert with the ncaa, it screams they don't want to look the part of the "heavy". Thoughts?

I think(hope)along these lines as well. I'm guessing Miami knows what's coming and getting their ducks in a row. The attorneys are on the clock. (Guessing only)
