Dyron Dye off the team

Smh its embarrassing and hypocritical on UMs part how they are using ex-current players as scapegoats....

The University is more guilty then Dyron Dye but yet they were willing to stand up to the NCAA as an institution, but at the same time turn their backs on the players who already served their punishment and played the smallest part in the entire case.

Also, Not EVERYONE is meant for the NFL... Only the elite!

Lastly, can you blame UM for not wanting to be a part of the lawsuit DYE and his lawyer are threatening to impose in the NCAA.

The investigator threatened Dye into incriminating himself and then when the kid brings that fact to light, he gets booted off the team. BS move by UM and, of course, BS move by the NCAA

Not blaming her on this..just saying more to the story and it seems he had issues and was asked to move on...best of luck to this young man and his family. Miami football OUR canes have to move on....it sucks it hurts we just have to move on

The way you accept everything the ncaa's crooked fake investigators state as fact I'm guessing you were one of the participants in Sperman's little friendly chat with Robinscum.
 
The staff was going to hold him out until the NCAA ruled on his case anyways...Judging by how the NCAA operates, I doubt they were going to make a decision on his eligibility anytime soon. The risk didn't outweigh the reward, cut ties now and get it over with.

I wouldnt say its a BS move by UM. I suspect there was more here going on. Why hasnt he been in camp? I suspect he and his lawyer have been holding out and engaged in some "negotiations" with the school/NCAA. Im sure Al got tired of it. At the end of the day, we NEED this kid to either play, or open up the scholarship. We cant have a guy taking up a scholarship who is not playing, not in camp, not GOING to play, and is engaged in some personal crusade against the NCAA over this issue.

Im not unsympathetic to the kid, but AL has to do what is best for this TEAM, not just Dyron Dye. Dye's issue is another distraction and uncertainty that we dont need. Camp is going to be over soon, so what was Dye going to do??? Show up half way through the season?

Why did they do this now?

What's taking the NCAA so long to issue a verdict? Miami has already answered the NOA? What the $%@# is going on!?

AG said a few weeks ago Dye isn't currently counting against our roster numbers bc he is on some injured list.

U ask how do I know this, I TOLD ALL OF U, IF U WOULD LISTEN INSTEAD OF SAYING I AM A TROLL. I live in Ohio and pick up Indy radio sports programming shows.....IT WAS REPORTED THE 3RD TIME HE TALKED, WAS ALL DIFFERENTS THEN THE FIRST 2 TIMES. IT WAS FREAKING STUPID OF DONNA LETTING THE NCAA BACK IN TO TALK TO DYE. I HIT THIS RIGHT ON THE HEAD BUT ALL U COLLEGE GRADS CALLED ME STUPID>>>>>WHO IS LAUGHING
 
Are you a hater? Dye is not bigger than the team. The young man broke the rules. He wants to fight with the NCAA, fine. But it's not going to be at the risk of the team today. Golden is not going to allow it. Further, the young man is not eligible as of today and is not healthy. Doubt he would've made an impact anyway.

Don't remember the specifics (actual terminology) but I do know it would be like an NFL player being on the IR/PUP and not counting against the 52 man roster.
