Dyron Dye off the team

Given all the questions I've gotten on Dye & what this means for Miami/COI matters, here's my answer: "Get ready."

BS move by UM

Kid got screwed

He got screwed because he took benefits and then lied while trying to cover his own *** because he thought it would benefit himself. Now he wants to sue the NCAA for what? So he can play 6th string on the team.

Hey, he is lucky UM is giving him the balance of his education for free...

Also, Not EVERYONE is meant for the NFL... Only the elite!

Lastly, can you blame UM for not wanting to be a part of the lawsuit DYE and his lawyer are threatening to impose in the NCAA.

He was a high school senior who made a mistake 5 yrs ago.

Dude, the school has to cooperate in a ncca investigation especially when the said player had conflicting stories the previous two meetings. The University did not make him change his story multiple times. Furthermore, we're not going to jeopardizing a possible BCS season for the 6th string DE. This is a business and he can pursue his issues with the NCAA independent of our investigation.

I am disappointed with our staff to be honest. They should have backed Dyron.....of course I say this based on the facts we know.

sounds like the retards in the NCAA finally finished their crayon written drafts.

If Shalala is so worried about ties to the scandal, why doesn't she resign?

She was the one who was dancing around with Shapiro chasing after the money.

I am the Guy that was mad when Donna let Dye talk to the NCAA for the 3rd time and told the NCAA something different all 3 times. U ask how do I know this, I TOLD ALL OF U, IF U WOULD LISTEN INSTEAD OF SAYING I AM A TROLL. I live in Ohio and pick up Indy radio sports programming shows.....IT WAS REPORTED THE 3RD TIME HE TALKED, WAS ALL DIFFERENTS THEN THE FIRST 2 TIMES. IT WAS FREAKING STUPID OF DONNA LETTING THE NCAA BACK IN TO TALK TO DYE. I HIT THIS RIGHT ON THE HEAD BUT ALL U COLLEGE GRADS CALLED ME STUPID>>>>>WHO IS LAUGHING>>>>>>>>>>LISTEN SOMETIMES A PERSON THAT U THINK IS A IDIOT, MAY NOT BE

Nah. Pretty sure your an idiot.

"The team decided that it doesn't want Dyron to be a member because they determined he would be too much of a distraction," said Darren Heitner, Dye's attorney. "The one nice thing is that it won't affect his aid. But as far as his future playing for the University of Miami, that door's closed."

Maybe some kind of deal was cut.

Lawyer doesn't sound blustery at all.

Miami's camp ends tomorrow. No media availability rest of the week, yet somehow I expect to be heading to campus (ready for ya, NCAA).

The kid lost his eligibility standing up to the NCAA in support of UM. He could have kept quiet but he wanted to let the world know exactly how slimy and corrupt the NCAA is. I have so much respect got Dyron Dye because he took one for the team and what he believed in.

I hope he continues to fight the NCAA and show just how corrupt they are.
