Dyoni Hill is not hurt (we surmise... because injury news is not reported)

What does this mean? Everything I’ve said about camp on the pods is accurate (or, when based on my opinion, honest) and I guarantee it’s more informed than anywhere else.

If I can’t say something, I tell you guys.
Just drop the hype podcast. I’m here Kool Aid dehydrated

Here's what I can say: I've never had more access. But with that access, and the first game on the schedule, comes a need to be careful in what I say.

So what you hear from us is accurate, but we are mindful in the information we can share.
As it should be. Us fans don’t need to know EVERYTHING and keeping certain things close to the vest is the honorable thing to do to give us advantages in any way possible.

David Lake specifically mentioned Porter, Richard, Brown and Frederique for CB depth. Not a single word about Hill. Also mentioned Stafford might be ready next year.
Exactly what I’m trying to say. I get Mario isn’t allowing for anything to get out, but no mention of him for a while now it’s weird.

What does that have to do with keeping things tight to the vest in the buildup to a rivalry game that happens to be the first game of the year?
Because if you do it and win it’s fine if you’re Mr secret because you have all the answers and lose he’s just an *******. He doesn’t owe the media anything but being the Pentagon and losing doesn’t play.

It's weird isn't it? Weirder still is moving Brown to full time Nickle. That suggested to me they were good with Hill as the other starter. Only other options are Richard, Stafford and now OJ and Mack. But we haven't heard anything about those two either, and the true freshmen aren't starting vs. UF.
This defense requires a nickel. I don’t like moving Brown either, but it sounds like he is the best nickel we have. So I guess they are forced to move him there.

Mario better win this fkn game lol
Agreed, but it’s not so much the embarrassment that would come from losing a game when you went Fort Knox mode for the fans to not enjoy the fall camp updates. That’s more of a gripe I have with cultivating interest within the fanbase instead of shutting them out, but nothing to do with results or on-field performance. If you win, no one will care about this.

However, It’s the embarrassment that would come from losing to a team in which we are profoundly more talented than, plus all the **** talk that’s gone on the last few months (me included, we should not lose this game). We have an advantage at pretty much every position, including the trenches and QB - the two most important spots at the collegiate level.

Coaching isn’t even a disadvantage. In fact, we have much better coordinators imo. So where are we weaker than them? The secondary? That’s it. Give me QB, RB, OL, WR, DT, DE, LB. I’ll give them corner, safety, and maybe TE is a wash since it’s a lot of potential and less results from our group.

If he finds a way to lose this, we've got bigger problems than just the 2024 season.

Everyone gets that. From what I see is all concerned board veterans are asking for is not to **** on them and tell them it is raining..... when people left other boards years ago and are seeing the same thing happening right here, right now as to why they left those boards...
Who is ****ing on you and telling you it’s raining exactly? Not saying stuff is much different than lying or telling you specific things…

It probably makes sense to remember most of these dudes that keep talking about practice and their risers and people that look horrible and the rest of that they literally see us in stretches and some basic drills

I hear you and it certainly tempers how I take the info, but I am not completely sold.

The post directly following yours was @DMoney saying, "Here's what I can say: I've never had more access. But with that access, and the first game on the schedule, comes a need to be careful in what I say." And "most of these dudes" are reporting based on their conversations with people within the program (who are there for more than stretches and individual drills).

There is clearly information the program wants public, and information the program wants contained. At it seems they're now able to exercise a greater degree of control. And maybe that's a good thing... who knows? Win the ACC and I sincerely doubt any actual fan of this program will care too much about the lack of camp news, depth chart updates, injury news, or transparent reporting on the team. But being an extreme program on information containment AND underperforming would just be a new level of un-fun.

Miami CB could really derail this season. The secondary is the biggest question mark on the roster
I agree. How hard can it be to just keep guys in front of you and not get burned deep. That is all they have to do to be average. Keep them in front of you and them get them on the **** ground. We will stop them the next play.
