Dylan Raiola

Big loss for Georgia. I’m in. Nebraska won’t have the roster to compete in big boy games. So this kid won’t ever be a national problem. But good on him for taking the legacy route and putting the team on your shoulders rather than riding the bench at Georgia
The two high school QBs I have thought looked “can’t miss” lately were this kid and Nico at Tennessee and they both looked awesome and the best part is neither are at Bama, Georgia or Ohio State.

Dude will put up video game numbers vs Colorado. So will Sheduer though. Should be a fun watch

Yeah I think he's gonna have a Jared Goff type of career. Great numbers and will probably get drafted high but his team has a low ceiling

Some of yall said this kid wouldn’t be good. A lot of you guys said that. Goes to show you guys don’t watch tape at all.
But when you guys crown dudes like Emory Williams and Judd just because DMoney hypes them up lol… UM fans are hilarious.
It's still a lil early on him. He's definitely had his moments both good and bad. What I saw posted on him the most (and I know it is my take) is the kids a headache & that may ultimately set him and the program back. Being in a small town is good for him in my eyes.

In what world do you think we were choosing between Judd and Raiola (as a player)? lol

I’ve never seen one person crown Judd. I’ve seen dozens question the take. Most say we’ll see 🥴

Every person on this site would take Ravioli over either. Not sure what the point of your comment is.

Think he is referring to the nonsense being peddaled about taking 3* and avoiding the elites. Dmoney has been pushing this for a couple years now. If we had a Raiola or Lagway or Sayin waiting in the wings I think WR recruiting would be in a much different spot.

Ok thanks for clarifying. He’s not wrong. To be fair, Miami did go hard after lefty that went to OSU Air whatever. Maybe winning will help us land one.

That’s not what I implied. Sorry if you read it that way. I’m just saying if you go back to the thread on Raiola there’s a lot of hate because of his recruitment process and him switching schools but if you put on the tape the kid was insanely advanced as a thrower.

See my post above this one but to expand on this I kinda was more referring to practice reports we get saying Emory looked great and then some fans think he will be in play for the starting position next year. I personally don’t think he’s a P5 QB at all. That being said, he’s a Cane and I root for him and will continue to do so.

I mean he’s not wrong the return on investment is too low for blue chip qbs in hs. For a Dylan raiola there’s a Malachi Nelson who just got beat out at Boise st. everyone wanted Malachi as well.

Sure as a passer I get saying he’s elite. But it’s an entirely different discussion on is he “worth” recruiting. QB is really THE position you want to make sure you’re not going to be dealing with any BS. Also when you get 5star QBs they are extremely expensive and unless you plan on them starting year1, aren’t worth the cost. Do we really want 6-8% of our yearly NIL budget spent on one guy sitting on the bench? Can you literally even afford that if you’re going to also be paying a guy like Cam Ward to come here?

Like I have been saying this entire time: Only go for the #1 or #2 HS QB if you are convinced they are truly elite difference Akers AND you plan on them starting immediately. Otherwise stick to the 3star/low 4star cheaper guys.

Im going to give it a few more weeks before we crown him. Beating UTEP and UC isnt going to really move the needle yet. The nice thing is he gets a few cream puffs, now he gets some "ok" Big10 teams, then he finishes with a few of the bigger dogs. So for a freshman to not get thrown into a week two game at a Big10 power should only help him build confidence.

But the next few games will be a tick up so lets see how it goes. Nebraska has a solid def and run game so that should help too.

This logic is terrible. I could name 5 portal QBs that "everyone" wanted that are ***. The solution is better evaluating not ignoring the process altogether. For every Cam Ward a Riley Leonard exists.
