I've never seen a player who runs a 21.6 200M with poor straight-line speed on a football field. It's neither useless nor conclusive. It's a piece of the puzzle.

The straight-line speed has certainly shown itself on coverage units so far. The COD, the instincts, the fluidity are all different components. He shows some of it on tape against poor competition, but there is still a lot to learn there.

Coverage units aren’t straight line speed. Good try though.
