Its what they have to resort to. Golden hasn't given them anything to go by from an on the field stand point so they have to resort to perpetuating accusations to draw attention away from the root problem and facts.

You already ate crow with Shannon since you thought he would end up being good cause he had a top 10 Defense or whatever as a DC and you'll end up eating crow again with Golden.

Only someone with a warped sense of what success is like when you thought Shannon outcoached Tressell in 2010 needs it explained to him as countless have done the things Golden has accomplished. IMHO Al Golden's main on the field accomplishment is getting this rag tag mess that Coker and Shannon left together. Untrained and undiscplined MESS they left behind. Fired is not the ONLY thing that should've happened to Coker and Shannon, they should've been tarred and feathered. Neither of those guys can coach their way out of a wet papaer bag!

Sure he does.

Taking over a winless team that was losing by 60 to everyone and turning them into a bowl team is an accomplishment.

He doesn't have a "signature upset" or anything like that, but the body of his work at Temple is impressive.

Ridiculous to blame Coker. Did tressel blame the previous regime ? Wat about Jim harbaugh who walked into a worse situation than golden did by 1000 fold? Bob stoops? Saban? Meyer? Carrol when he took over USC? Etc etc. Blaming Shannon is bad but to still blame Coker is just asinine and really shows where you are mentally.
