I'll be the first to apologize, I can't believe I've actually argued it's more to do with talent lacking than this ******* 'scheme'

No. Zone and a couple others are right. But there will still be people defending him til the very end.

Zone and co. also said our defense was dominant and we wouldn't give up 20 points to a team all year.

It should be apparent to anyone who has a pulse that we need a change in scheme and/or change in personnel staffing wise in order to compete in big games. We have yet to show up in a big game in over three years. We haven't been competitive in a single one of those games.

That be patient train just crashed into the ocean. I do believe those criticizing Dorito had it right the whole time, so good job sticking to your guns. It was so bad today I couldn't even watch the 2nd half, just listened.

407cane I'm not flaming you, but this wasn't even a marque game. VT is not a good team. We just got run by duke's b$tch..at home no less.

Thanks, I take no favor in being right. I just want my Canes back and that starts with an aggressive D.

We most certainly lack talent, and if you can't see that you're an idiot, but....BUT, the scheme is absolutely atrocious. If we had the 2001 defense maybe the scheme would work, but we don't, so we either need to try something else, or get someone else to try something else because this clearly isn't working. With that said, the talent is not that good either. Perryman is the "best" player on defense and he's vastly overrated (as I've been saying for weeks). He's a good LB, but that's it. He'd be fine with other LBs around him, but with garbage around him, he does not look good. He does nothing special and misses way too many tackles for someone with as much hype as he has.

The scheme is horrible, but even when we have guys in position, they miss tackles, which makes it look even worse. When they're not in position, they're so far out of position it's laughable. We have no pass rush whatsoever, and everyone salivating over McCord and AQM, ok, whatever. Maybe they'll turn into good players, but they're not elite. If they were we'd see it by now. Everyone knew Clowney was elite his freshman year. Don't get me wrong, they can both be good players, but they're not having the impact everyone thought they were in the summer. Also, I'm going to point out that Curtis Porter was not some mother****ing savior like people on here were saying. I got ridiculed because I said the defense was not suddenly going to be amazing with Porter back. Guess what? Porter has played all year. He's no Vince Wilfork. He's not even Vince Wilfork's 5 year old kid.

First of all
Apologies to Morris
Much of his game is lacking, but none of this is on him

Now, the D
Where to start
Coaching is disgusting
We didn't make a change and the Vag staff watched the tape and knew exactly how to **** us
Now talent
Wow, what can one say
Have you ever seems a Miami team sans a DL, LB OR SAFTEY
I knew FSU was deeper and more talented on D, but I never imagined a Vag OL and running game slashing us
Every play was a repeat is failure
The same call followed by out of position, or wide open, or missed tackle after missed tackle
Nt one play, not one playmaker!

Talent is still an issue but there is no denying that Dorito is a bigger issue. No excuse for this in year 3.

Who is teaching our players how to tackle? Jim Harbaugh taught the 49ers how to tackle correctly and they became a top D. Plus he is not a ***** so he can blitz and play man.

Does Duke and BC have better talent than us? If so, we in trouble. Both teams beat vetch. And Marshall almost beat them in the rain.

BS bro, our talent isn't this bad... 3 farking years and we can't cover a TE or a RB out of the backfield.
