If we don’t have a playoff roster, that means you know 12 teams that have a better roster than UM.

So in my weekly, sometimes daily, effort to challenge CIS posters to do more than just post with emotion, please answer the following question.
‘Name the 12 teams with better rosters than Miami’.

If you can’t name the teams, then you cannot definitively say Miami does not have a playoff roster.

I don’t know if Miami has a playoff roster because I don’t know enough about the rosters of other teams to provide an educated opinion.
So provide an educated opinion.

So, wait? Did the transfers that we brought in last year on D not have production and were thought to be quality players? Cause the narrative is, that we only hit the portal to bring in quality starters and fill holes, we don’t “rely” on it. And out of all the transfers on D last year, Barrow was the only one to really be consistent. We’ve brought in transfer DBs before, which one was a hit? Y’all act like just cause we brought in 5 DBs from the portal it guarantees improvement. The reality is, it doesn’t. Y’all should know that.

And Mainly cause of Ward is craaaazy like the RB, WR and TE room doesn’t clear what we have this year

Listen I saw what Clemson and SMU had on their roster last season. Solid rosters, but not any better than Miami.

Issue is Clemson played the weakest ACC schedule of all time, so their flaws weren't exposed as much except when they played Lousiville at home, and lost by double digits.

SMU played Lville and Duke as only tough ACC games, and anyone watched Duke game knows SMU got extremely lucky to win that game.

This season we all 3 play similair schedules, and Miami and Clemson have best rosters in ACC.

How you figure the OL will be better?? Cam saved that OLs *** MULTIPLE times last season! And the defense will be better because they brought in the 3rd DC in as many years and some DBs?? We’d have to have a 2000 yard rusher for it to even be comparable to last years offense!! You’re talkin a generational offesne vs an improved run game and a TE room you love? Come on now. I can’t believe some of y’all really think this years team is better than or equal to last years team

Maugioa is one year older and will be better than last year. Same thing applies with Cooper, Bell and Mccoy. Brockemeyer is an upgrade at center. This is also the deepest offensive line we've had in the last 20 years. Mario said himself yesterday that 4-5 guys from this line will get drafted next year alone. Lyle and Fletcher is a top end duo in the country. CWH has been in the conversation on most improved player so far and spring and will see the field. You could throw Lofton in there as well for certian packages, Even though you loose Arroyo, this years TE is probably a little bit deeper with Lofton, Bauman, the two Freshman, Ruskavich and even Nickel.


You wanna know why I think the defense will be better in 2025. You replaced Jaden Harris with Poyser. Getting rid of Harris alone automatically makes your defense better lol.

If you asked Mario right now, top to bottom, he will tell you this 2025 team is the most talented team he's had as a head coach. Will the offense put up the same numbers they did in 2024? Probably not. However, you're delusional if you don't think we'll be one of the top offenses in the country. Especially with this run game. Our team is going to be way more balanced this season

If you thought Dbs like Dyoni Hill, Jadais Richard, Savion Riley, etc were gonna come here n be ballers then thats on you I sure as **** wasnt moved by any of those dudes n it played out accordingly. Anybody who knows a lick of football knew the caliber guys were bringing in were servicable at best with Hill prolly being the biggest disappointment. If you can look at the caliber of guys we brought in this cycle and think they'll be as bad as those guys then do you, we'll see soon enough.

Having had 20+ years of **** coaching one would expect that variable to resonate around here. Everything is roster, roster, players, players. Do we have a top 12 coach? That would have been a more valid question.

What about our schedule last year? And we were much more talented than SMU. Even more talented than Clemson.

Y’all keep talking about talent like coaching isn’t just as important. And our staff has their work cut out for them this year. Mario especially! Tougher schedule, less experience, new coaching staff, less cohesiveness on both sides of the ball.

Don’t see 7-5. 8 or 9 win team tho with the potential to get to 10 wins with a bowl game. And if Mario can do that, he can parlay that into another season of “improvement”! 10 wins equals last years and we won a bowl game for the first time since what? 2016? Come BAL with us!!

We heard all offseason last year about how good Arroyo, Ward and the rest of the offense was going to be. Look at what we say on Saturdays. We heard OJ was impressing and was likely going to play early, and look at what happened. So again for the most part, a lot of what's being reported from Greentree is what we see on Gamedays

As far as the offensive line, we can get 4-5 offensive linemen drafted. Unless they get injured, Bell, Cooper and Francis are all obviously shoe-ins to get drafted. Brockemeyer, similar to lee, will most likely get drafted in the late end of the draft. Then I'll add Mccoy as the potential 5th guy, who for some odd reason gets a bad rap from brain dead losers liker you. With his size and his ability to play both Guard and Tackle, he can for sure be a late round pick.


And I get it, you hate the idea of Miami football having success, so I'm not surprised you're going around putting down this team. I just don't understand on how you can constantly just root for players and this program to fail. I know what you’re going to say, you'll talk about how long you've been a fan and how many games you've been too. You can save it. I am saying the only logical way to answer the question posed in this topic is to evaluate all the other rosters in college football and then make a determination whether UM has a top 12 roster.

Unless and until that is done, any answer to this topic is utter and complete speculation. So please feel free to speculate, but recognize that is all you are doing because you have not taken the time to answer the question with any shred of logic or reason.

Notice how the people who actually attended practices and gave us information were never the ones that said the dline had the chance to be one of the best in the country lol.


So a guy going into his 4th year of college can only go pro if he plays at a first round level? Sometimes players want to take the route to the NFL when they have the chance without risking further injury in college. Also, notice how Mario said 4 to 5, which implies that it’s dependent on MCcoy entering or not lol. Also note how I literally said “potentially the 5th guy”
