Do people really think Mario has no plan or idea…

Howard is out of eligibility, his backup is transferring. Given the expectations, there is no chance Ohio State won't kick the tires on a portal QB.

As for Gunnar Stockton, I guess maybe he shows out and they stick with him, but I find that unlikely.
Wouldn’t bank on Gunnar for next year.

So prove to you that you made up teams needing entire rosters without providing anything proving they will. That is an impressive feat.
I've got the time, so I'll do the hard work for you. An easy trip to the OSU 247 site probably would have been easier than whatever that sentence was. But I'll bite:

OSU:
- Losing Top 2 QBs
- Might not need a WR assuming no one enters the portal
- Already in pursuit of multiple offensive linemen
- Entire starting DL graduates
- On the record as interested in adding a safety and a cornerback

Georgia:
- Losing Beck, maybe Stockton or Rashada are good, maybe not
- Dane Key and Eric Singleton already officially visiting
- Losing entire right side of its OL
- Safety from Jacksonville State already officially visiting

I'll add Oregon just in the hopes that it will help you string together more than one sentence of a response:

- Losing Gabriel, maybe Dante Moore is good
- Losing 2 of Top 3 receivers
- Losing two starting OL
- Losing at least two starting DL
- Losing Top 5 defensive backs

These teams probably have more talent to fill the gaps but that's pretty unknown.

Now please, do try to come up with a meaningful comeback here, I am already getting bored of this.

So you are using players graduating as proof? This is terrible.

I am not sure if you knew this, but 247 Sports actually has a specific page for every P4 team. I know words aren't really your strong suit, but if you Google around a bit, you might be able to find all the information you need.

I could list every school in the country in this regard. What is this attempting to prove? Everyone uses the portal in 2025. I ask again what team needs STARTER at QB, multiple WRs, multiple OL, DT, DE, multiple corners, multiple safety?

Multiple OL?

I ask again, how high are you right now?

Ohio State will need a QB, at least one WR, as many OL as they can take, at least 1-2 starting DL and probably a corner.

Georgia will need a QB, probably more than one WR, an OL or 2, at least one DL and probably a guy in the secondary as well.

How high were you when you typed this thinking you had nailed it?

Oh no those two schools just replace there starting QB's with 5 star back ups in Gunnar Stockton and Julian Sayin at QB.

Theres a big difference in going to the portal for 3-5 spots a year and what Miami is having to do in year 4 when they need another 10+ guys to start/ play in the rotation nexy year.

At QB? I think he's got a plan. Not sure if it'll play out how he wants it to. But I think he does have a plan.

Idk about CB though. Dumpster diving for trash is not much of a plan, when all you've got is trash.

He ignoring all that man. This has turned into everybody uses the portal. He wants me to argue against a no **** Sherlock statement.

My guy, Oregon has 8 (if you count the kicker) transfers starting for them this year. Both starting DTs, a starting corner, a starting safety, a nickel, a starting wide receiver, a starting QB and a kicker.

If you include the transfer class of 2023, 14 out of Oregon's 22 starters were transfers from the past two years.

The internet is free guys, you can do this research yourself instead of making stuff up.

So now it's on roster. This is almost entertaining.

And they got a big10 title and competing for a natty because of that. Too early to tell this year what there needs are before the draft. But it will still be less than Miami's needs, which is our point. Not that schools dont use the portal.

Georgia nor OSU will need STARTING QBs. The rest, probably.
Hmm How interesting... because they have highly talented players (but with no experience/evidence they will be good) on their bench and "in line" it means they don't NEED STARTING Qbs... I wonder if we applied that same logic to our depth chart if the mopes would say we NEED WR, OL, EDGE, DT, LB, etc... lol

Your point is that Miami is using the portal out of necessity because they lack depth while other schools use it to upgrade at key positions.

My point is that you guys are talking about a roster overhaul, which sounds a bit dramatic.

From where I sit, Miami needs: 1 QB, 1 WR, 1 C, 1 DE, 1 DT, 3 DBs. And you could make an easy argument that not all of those guys need to be high-end starters.

8 million dollars a year and we can't expect this man to multi-task??? He should be able to acquire talent and also prepare for the precious Stop Farts Bowl.
Oh my god $8M dollars !!!!!!!! lol. Yall never will admit yall are dead wrong about that will ya? Once again, Mario isn't even paid top 15.
