According to a mini special I saw on tv, that was not what happened. Mario was surprised big time when he decided to come back.
And we had went and got Poff because we left without any other options.

What team needs a starting QB, starting WRs, multiple starting OL, starting DL and starting secondary? I'll pretend like LB and RB are in a stable spot for the sake of argument, but Wes is not good imo.

Ohio State will need a QB, at least one WR, as many OL as they can take, at least 1-2 starting DL and probably a corner.

Georgia will need a QB, probably more than one WR, an OL or 2, at least one DL and probably a guy in the secondary as well.

How high were you when you typed this thinking you had nailed it?

Georgia nor OSU will need STARTING QBs. The rest, probably.

Howard is out of eligibility, his backup is transferring. Given the expectations, there is no chance Ohio State won't kick the tires on a portal QB.

As for Gunnar Stockton, I guess maybe he shows out and they stick with him, but I find that unlikely.

Sayin will be OSU’s guy. They will go get a QB for depth purposes though since Brown left.

I’m assuming Stockton will battle Rashada for the job in Athens.

There has been absolutely nothing anywhere about either of these teams shopping for a starter in the portal so I’d be surprised but I guess we’ll see.

You might be right. Sayin is plenty talented and so are the Georgia guys. But if I am Ryan Day and I am ostensibly fighting for my job, I am probably at least adding a QB with experience.
