2024 DL Kamarion Franklin 2.0 (commits to Ole Miss)

What are you even talking about? You listed people we didn’t land under manny and somehow comparing that to people we did land under Mario saying it’s the same thing?

The new rhetoric as things have gone poorly over the last 1 month, 2 months, now 3 months has turned to things like we should be happy to be at the table… like Miami hats on the table are new or good for marketing or something bazaar…

Always Be Closing…

We’ve been at the table, we hired Mario to be the head of the table, flip it and bag recruits

Ok let’s try this again. We were talking about there’s no participation trophies in recruiting. You either land the commit, like he did Samson/Francis or you don’t. We celebrated landing those guys.

Now some fans want to celebrate the fact we had all these 5 stars visits even though we didn’t land them as it’s never happened before.

Again, Mario has had more of them visit but even sorry *** recruiter Manny had 5 stars visiting who he didn’t land, which I listed. We didn’t give him the benefit of the doubt because he got them to visit and we shouldn’t now.

It’s just recruiting and losing battles.

For example, Kam Franklin told us he was coming late Friday night. Even then, we knew it was a toss-up. That’s why I never said he was coming and always noted that recruiting a 5-star DL in the Deep South is a rollercoaster.
Boys getting played like a fiddle….

The D end coach has done well no? The DT coach I wish was Ed O. He can recruit! Go get someone who can if not him.
Taylor has been here as the full time de coach for a few months. I’m sure he played a huge hand in the ends as an analyst.

I just passed along that the comments weren’t new and that I was told it was his cousin. Someone on here’s buddy had these interactions with the guy over a week ago and I saw those or similar comments from him.
I know man its a joke lol

Confused on this, I know you can’t expound in intricate detail but how does a coach being stubborn affect an NIL budget and landing a recruit? Especially considering his relentless and “don’t give me no as an answer” approach?

You can also understand our frustration regarding NIL and the lack of blue chips. All these battles lost with an 80mil recruiting savant naturally leads to questions surrounding our use of funds…especially when the market had allegedly corrected itself and FSU’s 6 mil is enough to land a Top 5 class, but our 10 mil can’t sniff the top 10. There’s no way 4 mil is the difference between one 10-2 season and 5-7, and UF/Auburn/A&M/OU etc. are proving that.

None of these coaches has or is winning the national championship with the superior coaching angle. That’s the goal here right?
None of them has had access to the talent we do. All of them would have us a perennial top 25 team & enjoyable to watch. Which at this point after 20 years I'd take. National titles are basically a pipe dream at this point. I just wanna see a good product.

I’ll address whatever you want. The coaches set the goal of the best DL class in the country. That is a fact. You saw that with all the big-name DLs that visited multiple times.

They haven’t closed. Still time on the clock but they’re behind. Where is the lie?

I’m going to continue to give you the most accurate and direct information from the Miami perspective anywhere on the internet. There is no second-hand info or eye emojis here.

If Miami expects to get a player, or feels they are a strong contender, I’m going to tell you. And if it doesn’t happen, feel free to be upset. I’m upset, too.

But I’m going to keep giving everyone what I get as direct as I’m able to say without hurting the program. If that is too emotionally taxing for some people, perhaps recruiting is not the right hobby.
With four kids committed and only a few “whales” left, when do they drop to a high ceiling 3*? Assuming after 4-6 senior year games to evaluate.

Do they see Russell as a 3T or DE?
