I’m referring to this notion that we should be comforted by the fact that the ones we missed on atleast visited and put us in their final 3 or 5 as it’s never been done before. Yes, Mario is getting more of them on campus but either you land them like Francis/Samson and you celebrate or you don’t like DL this year. There’s no participation trophies awarded.

Btw, Manny had Darnell Washington, Justin Flowe, George Pickens, Tyrique Stevenson, Evan Neal and Jadon Hasselwood all officially visit and put us in their final 3 or 5. We didn’t celebrate him for it after he missed on them and this was during a time with a limit of 5 OVs unlike now.

I’ll address whatever you want. The coaches set the goal of the best DL class in the country. That is a fact. You saw that with all the big-name DLs that visited multiple times.

They haven’t closed. Still time on the clock but they’re behind. Where is the lie?

I’m going to continue to give you the most accurate and direct information from the Miami perspective anywhere on the internet. There is no second-hand info or eye emojis here.

If Miami expects to get a player, or feels they are a strong contender, I’m going to tell you. And if it doesn’t happen, feel free to be upset. I’m upset, too.

But I’m going to keep giving everyone what I get as direct as I’m able to say without hurting the program. If that is too emotionally taxing for some people, perhaps recruiting is not the right hobby.

Confused on this, I know you can’t expound in intricate detail but how does a coach being stubborn affect an NIL budget and landing a recruit? Especially considering his relentless and “don’t give me no as an answer” approach?

You can also understand our frustration regarding NIL and the lack of blue chips. All these battles lost with an 80mil recruiting savant naturally leads to questions surrounding our use of funds…especially when the market had allegedly corrected itself and FSU’s 6 mil is enough to land a Top 5 class, but our 10 mil can’t sniff the top 10. There’s no way 4 mil is the difference between one 10-2 season and 5-7, and UF/Auburn/A&M/OU etc. are proving that.

I understand where you're coming for and it's a message board at the end of the day so no harm, no foul.

My question is where the disconnect then? Is it in our program or the medium in how they convey it? Is it the people sharing the information to the fans?

Something is dysfunctional in the chain of command and if it's on Mario's end, then we're truly in trouble as any successful organization cannot function in a manner as such.

It’s just recruiting and losing battles.

For example, Kam Franklin told us he was coming late Friday night. Even then, we knew it was a toss-up. That’s why I never said he was coming and always noted that recruiting a 5-star DL in the Deep South is a rollercoaster.

I get that, it just seems more frequent this cycle.

We’ve got recruits telling the coaches all the right things, people with info telling insiders to feel confident, coaches like Lane and Venebles actively trolling us on social media, rivals taking note that we’re lagging behind in the one category Mario and co. we’re supposed to dominate year in and out in…and we don’t have a definitive “**** you” answer to retaliate.

It’s all one big collective disappointment on the trail thus far. Didn’t expect Mario and the program to be dragged through the mud as publicly and frequently, it’s like a giant smear campaign.

I just passed along that the comments weren’t new and that I was told it was his cousin. Someone on here’s buddy had these interactions with the guy over a week ago and I saw those or similar comments from him.

What are you even talking about? You listed people we didn’t land under manny and somehow comparing that to people we did land under Mario saying it’s the same thing?
