Just gotta land one of Stone or Breland. Also ensure we are ready to match the inevitable Nil offers the 3 DLine guys we already have committed will get offered leading up to NSD.

But we shouldn’t stop recruiting any of these top DLine guys. Shut could change by the end of the season.

I’m pretty sure there’s some truth to the SEC guy that was reporting that fsu is paying kids bi-weekly to keep them warm and visit while saving officials until the season. Norvell hardly ever won a recruiting battle for a top recruit until this year. They’re probably so confident in all the Chaminade kids because they’re feeding them checks to keep the line open and visit.

What baffles me is that Florida very publicly ****ed over Rashada last year with his NIL deal... yet kids are still committing (and trusting them).

I agree. But, we were told that Mario was a recruiting gawd. It is looking more like he is ok when he out spends the competition and very pedestrian when he can't.

End of the day we’re gonna have to build this like either Michigan or FSU did. Evals, Portal and time. Then HS recruiting will come as we start to win more. This is a long haul build. If anyone expects to truly compete for a natty before 2027, they’re delusional.

No they won’t. This isn’t 1996. I’m actually involved with youth football down here. If you think that’s true then I got some beach front property in Kansas for you.

Brother - I check in now basically on commit day or after. I don’t waste my time anymore wether it’s for Miami or not. A lot happier that way.

I heard “greatest recruited D-line of all time,” etc, etc. Best to not even get excited over anything, even after they commit to a school until signing day and then you have to recruit your own players all over again the flowing season so they don’t jump ship and transfer.

That’s my strategy.

Win on the field and a lot of this gets a bit easier which is better than looking like **** in the field and that only guarantees you mostly pain.

As long as we stop getting embarrassed I'm fine. No more Dukes, FIUs, MTSUs, etc. I'm fine with '23 8-5, then '24 9-4, then '25 9-4, then '26 11-3, then '27 9-4, then compete.

💯 they are nervous about what we have and what we did and where we are going. It we need to win games and win battles.

Yeah well I know “connected” guys as well buddy.. all these kids care about it is money, WINNING, and making it to the league…. Win at Miami and the rest will work itself out.
