You insulted us and you have no idea what goes into things on this end and how long we watch certain activities and actors to manage it as we need to and now you’re acting like we (I) almost took your head off for simply pointing out naughty posters.

Calling you soft is hardly insulting you. It just means you guys let some of the trolls get away with stuff. I simply suggested a way to make the board run smoother. You guys do put up with a ton of crap and I as a poster appreciate what you do.

It was uncalled for. We don’t simply let them get away with stuff.

There’s legit trolls. We watch and ban.

There’s legit **** on every single thing mopes who are the same as trolls. They go longer but most get banned at some point for ruining every thread.

There’s mopes who complain and walk a line teetering on **** on everything but don’t cross the line enough to just off them. We’re aware of them but this is a tricky group because we’re not trying to silence opinions but some of it also crosses the line.

And there’s posters giving their honest opinions that some sunshine pumpers don’t want to hear. This is the majority of the non-sunshine pumping group.

That guy that Cribby went at was very close to a ban before this. We saw what we needed to see and we acted.

At the same time, I don’t care if others want to sunshine pump positivity. When the fringe of that crowd gets aggressive with other posters the way that fringe has, looking to intimidate and attack, they become a problem to be dealt with as well.

The average poster on here doesn’t like either of the fringes.

I'm definitely a homer with O&G glasses. So I get annoyed by mopes and believe extreme mopes have hidden agendas and should be banned ASAP.

But you are spot on about extreme slurpers being detrimental, too. Starts to read like Warchant or the Gators board. Canes fans should be self-respecting and intelligent enough to let the facts and trends speak for themselves, both positive and negative.

FWIW, I think you mods are doing an amazing job. So many other boards have blown up due to a toxic fanbase. As you know, politics killed one such board and it was a crying shame. Your role is an unpaid, mostly thankless tasks. I would never want to do it. So major props to all you guys!!

On a personal fan level, I see you, Inday, Tampa getting more negative about Miami's prospects under Mario, which saddens me. You guys were so bought in for so long. I hope Mario delivers in 2023 so we can get back to enjoying being Canes fans once again.

Thank you for your understanding and words. I don’t get why something as simple as a commitment in a commitment thread from a 4 or 5 star can’t be celebrated by all in peace and why someone either needs to **** on the coach or player or start popping off at the mouth at the portion of the fanbase they continuously vilify for raising questions and giving opinions on things they are concerned with.

I’m not upset with Mario over recruiting. I don’t know enough to be. I think last season’s performance is unhelpful in recruiting but I am also hopeful regarding the new coordinators and roster additions and we need it.

I think we’re also losing some on NIL amounts, some on fear of NIL payments, some on Conference uncertainty - a lot that Mario can’t control.

What he can control is staff choices and scheme choices. It just has to work out or we’re cooked in my opinion. We’re getting savaged as a viable option on the trail by FSU, the gator, the SEC and the BiG 10 schools.
