Everyone of our insiders/reporters has been off this cycle because our staff has been off this cycle. A couple of the smart ones have stayed quiet because they could sense something was off. I mean sure, but Bama didn’t toss money until Saban, Auburn’s boosters issues with Harsin were well documented, it took Mack Brown for UNC to spend, and tons of other examples, but we can go myopic and do what we usually do.

Like bro we just recently got an ipf, we are in the process of building a football facility now and more upgrades in other places. Mario and other people have said he had to put stuff in his contract to guarantee that there would be a full by in.

Rudy fernandez was on a podcast after mario and rad were hired and said at the beginning of the process he wrote down mario and rad lol thats literally the same way of thinking the past 20 years m(besides cmr) but this time we have money and thankfully a coach who’s actually proven. Some of you guys bringing up 5-7. I already took the time in another thread with more details to debunk that. We brought in the #7 class with that 5-7 record last year. Plus as I mentioned previously there’s multiple teams with similar or worse records than us recruiting better. It might have a small effect on things, but nothing near what you guys are attempting to lead on. We are simply getting outspent (NIL) this cycle. This is only going to get worse if we don’t end up making it into one of the Big 2 conferences.

Plus as I mentioned previously there’s multiple teams with similar or worse records than us recruiting better. This is only going to get worse if we don’t end up making it into one of the Big 2 conferences.

It’s not just that we went 5-7, it’s what that 5-7 actually was. The meth heads went 6-6 but had a much better season then us all the way around. Our 5-7 played out like a 3-9. Then you have the dark cloud surrounding Ruiz, and the P2 concerns.

Dudes living the life. Ran into him after the UNC game he was lost in the parking lot. My dad didn’t believe it was him so I was like coach give me a go Canes. In his raspy drunken way he let out a Go Canes it’s was great. Not sure if he ever found where he was going cause we were way back in the back of the lot. I can't believe how ridiculous some of you are on this site about this situation. Our 5-7 was in a **** conference and we were actually lucky it wasn't even worse. The idiots in Gainesville had a few quality wins over USC, Utah and Texas AM and all of their losses outside the bowl game were reasonably close. If we had played their schedule with that "team" we had last season I might have jumped off my roof.
Just name me ONE quality win that we had last season. Ill wait...
I believe in Mario and will be patient and think we have two solid coordinators now but comparing our season visually with UF or others with similar win totals shows how little most of you actually know about college football or sports in general. Its laughable actually.
Add the NIL situation and it makes it even worse.

David should’ve been offered while in JUCO, horrible on Shannon’s part. Which is why he’s never been a HC again.

AB was insanely talented, but could only do one thing. Should UM have found some packages he could play in? Absolutely. But AB was a ton of foolsgold. He was Hassan white side without the attitude. The counting stats looked amazing but for every TFL there was a 15 yard gain that was a result of him not doing his assignment.

I'm not going to get into a grammar argument with you, Lol but "some of you" and "most of you" is not referring to a single person. Sorry if you took it that way.
But look brother, you and I agree and I was just tagging your post.
The main issue is Mario has to win games this season and win quality ones. Also, we have to get out of this **** conference but I'm afraid that will be very difficult in the near future. I keep hearing DMoney and other insiders say that our NIL is strong but we are just not willing to overspend to get players. So that means our NIL is not as strong as these other teams because if teams are willing to give Colin Simmons 3 million over 3 years then THAT is what he is worth and we have to be willing to match that our we are now falling behind. They can say how 75/85 of our football players are getting NIL through the collective and not Ruiz but if they are not getting comparable amounts to other teams then what good is it. You won't be able to attract new players and will be in danger of losing the ones you have.

Different situations. Was able to get some big guys in the fold before the season last year and it was year 1. How many teams got blowed out in multiple games last year that are out recruiting us? And add the Ruiz shît on top and I’m sure they are telling the kids the money won’t be there
