2024 DL Kamarion Franklin 2.0 (commits to Ole Miss)

Ended up as if not the most overrated class of all time it has to of been top 3…
3 funniest things about that 2008 cycle?

1) The one highly rated kid who transferred out (Arthur Brown) ended up being most productive and highest drafted.

2) The one highly rated kid who decommitted (Patrick Peterson) ended up being a HOFer

3) Took 27 kids from MNW and the one we didn’t offer ends up being an all-pro (David).

Almost seems like instead of being overrated, our coaches let them down.

Brother who is Auburns WR coach? Is he somehow better than Alabama coaches? The 5 star who flipped from Bama to Auburn literally said "hugh freeze is better at developing WR's than the University of Alabama" and everyone laughed at him. Everyone knows and has told you overpaying NIL has been the main issue.

The second point you made about negative recruiting is true along with the overpaying. Position coaches are not the reason why we are recruiting badly. We have been told we have been outbid on Franklin, Simmons, Ahfua,

Stewart is staying in USC because of Beamers connection with DMV, Justin Scott because his mom wants him close by, Kendall Jackson UF legacy he was never coming here. Stone is a fight with his hometown team of Oklahoma. Jayden Jackson is following Stone. We did not miss due to coaches on any of these.

Literally none of these are the coaches fault. The only coach who we seem to actually have affected recruiting is CB with Addae who hasn't even remotely sniffed anyone with a pulse this year.
Good points…. So my follow up question to you would be this? Why did they waste so many resources on kids IF it was that obvious? Seems pretty dumb.

Instead of trying to get Ellis Robinson from 2X champ, why aren’t we on Jamari Howard?

Collin Simmons in UTs backyard, why wasn’t Dylan Stephenson called?

We saw this last cycle with Stanquan Clark. We’ve seen this happen with Zay Flowers & multiple others in past. If you’re gonna waste the time, effort & resources to recruit certain players there’s no excuse when you don’t land them.

Don’t pivot for millionaires getting paid to do their job.

1) AB was a real life Water Boy. Guy only understood 1 thing. Kill the man with the ball. He couldn't even do basic assignments like cover 3 zone. KState didn't care and let him be Bobby Boucher out there. His physical ability was enough that he made more plays than he gave up. He flopped hard in the NFL for a reason. I say this as someone who was actually friends with AB while he was on campus. Nicest guy you will ever meet.

2) Well yeah, guy got the bag to an insane level. He was the recruit that made Shapiro tap out of competing with the SEC.

3) LaVonte David was the best player coming out of MNW and everyone knew it. He simply had no shot of qualifying so nobody recruited him. Remember, he had to go Juco first before ending up at Nebraska.

You’re telling me the guy who won big 12 POTY and was an All-American but not good enough to play here… that doesn’t seem like coaches fault? It was.

As for PP, seems like the same situation currently going on now lol

David should’ve been offered while in JUCO, horrible on Shannon’s part. Which is why he’s never been a HC again.

This is your ole pal he hates humans. I have a solution to all your problems. Put a small pitchfork in your mouth and stick it in a 220volt outlet. That will remedy all your problems. Sincerely yours truly Barry Jackson's Burner Account 😆😂

I actually completely agree with you on this Mario should move on faster. But that is just who Mario is so we really can't do anything about it just like last year he tried with Hykeem and Inniss til the very end.

Especially with how hard DT recruiting is as its unlike any other position most of the elite DT's stay closer to home or go to Bama/Georgia other than the 2022 A&M class. This year the only elite DT class is Georgia no other school has multiple top DT's committed as DT's are usually always spread out. IF we miss on Stone and Franklin I think is when Mario will adjust even if it should have been sooner. Which I agree with you we should be moved on a lot quicker instead of using our resources.

Ellis Robinson was fine since like I said Addae has no one with a pulse to even want to visit lol but your point with Colin Simmons is the only one that I disagree with since we literally pulled off lightfoot and our current team and last cycles have been ripe with edges. We will also get another good edge player to commit as well. EDGE should be the least of the worry

Lol another miss

12-15 range for the class and start sending feelers out mid season for the transfer portal because we’ve missed

12 would actually work fine. We all want it to be better of course but there aren’t a lot of programs who stack a Top 12 class on a Top 7 class with a Top 10 portal class in the middle. I think I’d be OK with 12th at this point.

According to Gaby he checked in with Miami's side and they told him that Kamarion has relayed to them that he has not yet made a decision and that even if he did commit somewhere Miami's ultimate goal is to get him in for another visit for the Texas A&M game which Franklin is reportedly open to.

This literally sounds like he decided lol

He’s reportedly open to the idea of visiting. Already sounding like he’s committed elsewhere.

this is probably the worst/most confusing year when it comes to "inside information"

Yea but Gaby is pretty straight up over there. When a player isn't comin he will tell them straight up like he did with Simmons. Says Auburn has the momentum but Miami is not out of it yet.

The thing is if Miami is not willing to match the offer what even is the point of trying to host him the the A&M game???? I refuse to believe the staff wouldn't host him for the game if they are not willing to match the offer. But who knows.
