Valiant effort by the staff but this kid has shown his hand for a while now besides that Samuel Jr news got me hype.
 
Love this staff they work their asses off and never give up, even though a player is not coming here.

committed to a sh*tty staff, sh*tty team quite frankly, watched us get beat by 58 to Clemson and stayed

then we become a legitimate program with a legit coaching staff and all the hype in the world and he bails, lol

Not "February signing good"? What does that even mean? Until this year, all kids were February signings.

Obviously, the staff feels differently. They've shown no hesitation to move on from certain recruits. Clearly he isn't one of them. And he shouldn't be.

In an ideal world, you'd love kids to get the message that games are for the school yard and not to be played at UM's expense. But guess what? We're dealing in reality here. That approach doesn't work when the alternative is Alabama. We've come a long way, but we haven't come that far where we can tell elite talent to take a hike when that talents alternatives are other elite programs.

And whether you like it or not, this battle is every bit about program vs. program and sending a message to each other as much, if not more, than it is about the kid and what you'd like to tell him to do or not do.
