He's not visiting lol. He's signed and delivered at this point. I was optimistic at first but there is absolutely no indication he wants to be a Cane.

He's bein a sissy at this point and telling folks what they wanna hear. He can't be a man and tell the truth.

The only time people focus on Saban and about us not being able to stop him are when he takes his 1 recruit a year out of 50.

People don't remember him flying his ******* helicopter to Palm Beach and dropping bags on the field for Gurvan Hall, or him telling Pope he was the next south Florida WR to go to Bama, or pursuing Lingard early in the process only for him to pick us. He tried to get Blades on campus, tried to get Frierson on campus, tried to get Brevin Jordan etc.

He'll get 1 or 2 a year that are blind enough and have a peanut for a brain and are influenced by 20 grand. The kids that come to Miami see millions. They see the best player in the NFL right now (Calais Campbell) is from Miami. Artie Burns second contract is gonna be huge, Adrain Colbert is quickly becoming one of the best rookies in the league, Gore is churning out more yards (at 35!) than Derrick Henry and nearly as many as Ingram. Same for Lamar miller on a dog **** team.

For the players we've actually wanted head to head vs Saban, we've done better than nearly any other school. You have the Jobe/Henderson/Byrd types every year. We'll see the same thing next year.. we just don't know who it'll be.

The kids that you know are very smart and bright, like Sanguinetti, won't even give the time of day to Alabama. Because they see through the bs. Hard to expect anything more out of a 20 year old struggling to graduate high school. I'm not gonna get into Jeudy, it was too little too late. Ridley, I can't blame him for leaving. But a kid that is committed for 2-3 years and does this after us going 10-2... **** no.

18 pages of opinions about a recruit all have never spoken to.

Fact, we are going up there to meet with him.

Fact, we still believe we are in the driver's seat or have a chance to be.

Fact, the latest he's said is that he will visit in January.

Fact, he is still a verbal at this time.

Fact, he is as elite as it gets at HIS position, safety.

The rest, uninformed opinions talking about what our staff should do when they know more than everyone here put together.

Final thing, his recruitment has absolutely nothing to do how we recruit Samuals or any other corner we have or are after. They play a different position.

Opine to the end of the internet. There's a lot of dumbassery going on in this thread.

I would have no problem locking down this thread. Lets talk about recruits that want to come here.

This is the kinda ***** that must make coaches want to say, "***** It"! This boy parents should give better guidance and not allow the kid to jerk these institutions around. The BS he's pulling is so wrong on so many levels. He known for some time where he's going, act your age and not have people waste their time. He needs to remember that if he doesn't make the league, he may want to make connections where he'll live, Miami.

Problem with that most times, not saying this time cause I don’t know, the parent(s) have their hands stuck out looking for a piece of the perverbial “bag pie” too pushing the kids to play the game for their benefit.Their lottery ticket so to speak.

So to expect the parent(s) to reel in a kids game playing and bag hunting when oft time they’re steering the ship is wishful thinking.

If a kid hasn’t been raised well enough by the time he’s ready to graduate then I doubt they will have enough respect towards a staff or school to do things the right way.

It’s crazy some of y’all legit sound like you’re wife just left you and she’s never coming back. “All he’s been talking about is Bama and he needs to stop playing games with us.” Y’all sound like some punk bi**hes! Let the kid be a kid. Why are y’all so damaged and heart broken that you’re legit mad at a kid you don’t know for trying to make the biggest decision of his life to this point. Put your big boy pants on and Man TF UP! It’s recruiting this sh** happens all the time. If he comes to Miami great, if he doesn’t peace! We have way too many positive vibes to be tripping on this kid. Even if we miss on Campbell, Surtain and Jobe we still got dogs 1000% coming! Take a fu**in chill pill. Don’t sit around being internet tough guys calling a kid out his name. Coaches better and will bring the house to close everyone of the guys stated above, until the end because recruiting is a war not a battle and you have to fight to the end. Put you’re fu**ing ego to the side, put your chin straps back on and get to back in the **** fight. Some of all wanna throw in the towel cause he hurt your feelings smh. Thank God y’all aren’t recruiting these kids.

Exactly.

It truly makes me sick to see UM fans **** slobbing Sabag like he gets everyone he wants from us and we have no chance and his evaluations are flawless and all the other braindead brainwashed facquitry I hear from UM fans as they kneel at the SEC Sabag altar waiting for their ****-soaked communion wafers.

Sack up, facquits. It’s pvssies like you who perpetuate this God like image of Sabag and make it seem like South Florida recruits are being visited by a tiny sour Jesus Christ when that sawed off cvnt flies in on his midgetcopter.

The GREAT Sean Taylor would bust him in his traitor mouth for that Bama Made bull. He's a Miami Made traitor. He don't ever deserve to wear that #26 .

C’mon D, your a vet, We know why certain kids from S Fl. leave for Bama.

Top rated kids from the state of Alabama don’t leave because quite frankly, they’re more loyal than S Fl recruits.

Manny Diaz, Mike Rumph, and Ephraim Banda will fly up to Connecticut on Thursday to meet with Miami commit Josh Jobe prior to his Alabama visit this weekend.

This is the second time that Miami coaches have seen Jobe in the last week. Coach Banda spent nearly the entire day with Jobe last Friday. Mark Richt has still not used his in-home visit with Jobe, which I am told is because UM would like to get the very last crack at recruiting him if possible.

Jobe has indicated to Miami that there is a chance he even waits until February to sign between Bama and UM, which would make Richt’s in-home even more valuable.

Obviously he's torn or else he would have decommitted already but nonetheless looks like he's leaning towards Bama still.
Or he is dragging this out longer and longer to try to get as much money as possible out of Sabag.

I agree with your main point but your musings on some current ProCanes are way off.

Gore is having arguably his worst season. Averaging 3.5 ypc.

Lamar Miller is also having a terrible season. Averaging 3.6 ypc.

Burns has been very up and down.

Colbert has played meaningful snaps in three games.

Campbell is having a great year and is likely going to be DPOY. But to call him the best player in football is a stretch; he's better than Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers?

Again, I get your point and agree in spirit but the hyperbole is a tad ridiculous.

18 pages on some kid who will most likely be a bust or transfer candidate. Too many character flaws.

If you were an assassin like JOBE, would you rather learn the "Art of DB" from Master Saban or Kung Fu Panda?...yes, Panda.

Year 2, still not impressed with Panda, how the fudge did he get on his staff? His Mojitos skills must be the ****..

Two posts in and you clown yourself with this.

Which prior malcontent banned porster were you anyway?

Saban’s guy won the Thorpe...lol. Love Jaquan. Great kid. And if you think Rumph is not in Jaquan’s ear during the season as well, you’re a total fool like Jobe. Panda is way in over his head. Richt needs to reassign him to the Rat. Use them Bartender skills. Jaquan seemed to respond very well once Reed spent only a week with him...If you want to be great...you get coached by a great.
Jaquan had better stats than Minkah Fitzpatrick, and it wasn't even close. Fitzpatrick just had a ton of hype coming into the season plus he is on a team that is in the playoff.

I like this post but the only thing is I dont think we in the drivers seat. He picked up the chick with that coca cola shape and now we just the chic with nice **** in the back. We got to work our way back to the front seat which I dont see happening

You're comparing an ocean of talent (SFL) to a retention pond of talent (state of alabama). Don't be stupid.

i dont think you know how to evaluate talent then. dudes maybe top 7 in this class and thats a big MAYBE. But hey the rest of the dudes didnt go to columbus so how good could they be compared to a 20 year old

You don't see Bama chasing after many prospects like they're going after Jobe. So I don't think you know how to evaluate talent.
I saw highlights of jobe, a 20 yr old getting ed by some sorry *** prep school kid from connecticut, so yea he aint the best or even close to top 3 in the ****ing class. imo gurvan hall ****s on jobe in all facets of the game as does gilbert

u got an argument with Hall but thats it IMO, Jobe is being recruited by Saban like a beast that tells u all u need to know about how highly the best talent evaluator in cfb thinks of him.

Lol no. Saban doesn't evaluate talent. He just $$$ the highest rated stars.

Saban doesn't have anything to do with the money or the cars.

That's done by third party individuals. Once the money (some of it) has transferred, that's how Bama is able to really close in the final days of recruiting. Because it's a simple business transaction.

The official and unofficial visits are just the guards defining the parameters.

And THAT is how Saban is able to shut down further visits. A deal is a deal.

And it's not just Saban. Auburn does it. The entire SEC does it - some much better than others as they have a larger network with deeper pockets.

If he's already been bought - and some Alabama folks seem to think that's the case - thus their supreme confidence in Jobe coming to Alabama - then he'll sign with Bama on the 20th.

That's just the way it works.

On the other hand, a smart UM coach would let him know that Bama is NOT going to ask for their money back . . . .

The reason is simple. The most top talent is in SFL. Therefore, more SFL top talent is gonna leave.
I’d be interested to see a comparison as percentage of national top level talent leaving either area
