Derick Hunter

It might not seem like a big deal but I highly doubtful he goes to Alabama... If he was I doubt he would be advertising the fact he is visiting Miami instead

You are giving this kid too much credit. I'm sure he didn't think he was down playing Alabama.

Attention seeker to the fullest but from the staff's perspective you have to keep recruiting him because of our need at DT.

We have to keep our options open until after spring evals are done. After that, I think you'll here the staff focus on on who they want unless someone pops up at camp or during their senior season.

***** all the negativity! You cats act like we some DT Surplus center. This dude is a top caliber DT and we been thirsty for DT's. So we should show the kid some love for coming and not question why. I don't care if we are getting Brown, Daxon, Ingraham, Sorrells and Davis, he's still a take. Stop acting like a woman who husband left her. Let's help the staff in welcoming this kid.

Why hope Martin transfers? That makes zero sense. I hope he develops into a rotational player like Moten.

Even if we sign the max # of possible slots in the 2019 class (26-27 initial counters), we'll still be under 85 scholarships given 3-4 guys leaving early.

There's literally zero benefit to him transfering
first of all the max # of possible slots in 2019 is 28, not 26 or 27.
Secondly this isn't a 1 yr "plan". Martin straight up isn't ******* good. Neither is Bar Milo. Neither is Romeo Finley. All those guys I absolutely hope transfer out sooner than later. Sorry but we're at the point where every scholarship matters, and every guy that isn't good we keep around another season (who has no potential to develop into a starter) its an opportunity cost of a more talented player.
The benefit to him transfering is just the additional roster space. That is LITERALLY a benefit. Hes got exactly ZERO snaps last season, just like Terry McCray. At what point can we call a spade a spade?

You're too young for me to even waste my breath explaining. Some guys the lights will click on this year. I'll let the season play out and let you act like you have ever coached anything in life. ******* know it all punk muthafukka

Still can’t give up on Martin and Finley.

if he is your 3rd or 4th best DT in the class that's fine but he cant be a guy you should count on contributing year 1.

Rivals has a fresh article stating that we may be back on top for Hunter.

We'll see.
