Depth chart vs ND Pre Portal

In no order
SDE: Mesidor, Cole, Blount, Lowe
WDE: Pickett, Lightfoot, Bryant, Rudolph, Scroggins
DT: Blay, Morten, Horton, Scott, Jones, Newton, Simpson.

Bain looks to be around 275lb. A decision needs to be made, either lose 10lbs and stay at SDE or gain 10lbs and move to DT. Lowe is an EE he might gain A good bit of strength annd some weight to be SDE ans a freshman. Regardless, he will leave Miami as 260+ DE. Also a sure fire WDE like a Damon Wilson would be great.

We better not go out there with Bain and Mesidors big a$$es at DE.

Bain is fighting the inevitable and doesn't want to slide inside. He thinks he's a DE. (he's not) This'll be an issue until he humbles himself and understands that it's more valuable to be a twitchy DT than a slow, short DE.

It's also time to get those young highly rated DT's on the field. And at least one of the young DE's need to step up. We can't go out there with 280+ pound DE's all game.

Bain is causing more havoc with trying to do something with him then he caused on the field , not surprising.

DT and LB needs to be better.

Either theyre 280 or 220. We're built like a 3-4 defense

I would play Bain and Mesidor at the same position if they're keeping both at DE., Never on the field together unless 1 or both are kicked inside on obvious passing downs. Let them split snaps and stay fresh.

Would have to tell one of them they're not the "starter" and that will ruffle feathers.

This new DC plays a physical high pressure D , my kind game.

He’ll shake everything up big time , people will wake up .

I’ve been home wife very sick pulmonologist visits every 5 days been tough here for almost (3) weeks.

WR - 1 stud, 1 depth
RB - 1 depth
TE - we have what we have. Big drop off from arroyo
OG - feel good
OT - would be nice to see okunlola step up for quality depth there

DT - they better have hit on Blay, probably need 1 more regardless unless Bain moves inside. Plenty of DE depth if a few develop this offseason
LB - 1 starter caliber, but a lot depends on how popo, Pruitt, Hayes develop in the spring
CB - feel good when Lucas joins
S - 1 starter caliber

SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!!! we had no speed off the edge ... booker picket showed more speed off the edge in 5-6 snaps than bain, baron, and whoever else we had combined ... our pass rush consisted of trying to push the pocket with a bull rush and our opponents offensive tackles lift weights too ...

also agree on bain, he either needs to drop weight (which i think will weaken him) or let his body go it's natural direction, get to a 3 bills and bump inside

Maybe now with good DB’s than can cover we can get to the QB! Bain can rush as can Mesodor. The issue is that WR were wide open out of the gate and WB were wasting no time throwing the ball to them. This Bain can’t rush the QB is BS imo

Another reason to take at least one more portal DE if we can upgrade. I'm hoping Hethermam is of the "every DL should learn every position to maximize your NFL value" persuasion. Might be a way to un-ruffle.

Ewers declared for the NFL draft. Doesn’t stop him from coming back, and possibly to ND but I don’t see it.
