DP's big hit has been getting lots of love today on %SPN . Probably the best hit of the weekend if not the year. Pure text book form. Whats the odds that he stays one more year? Wishful thinking?

We need some GIF action up in here of the hit.

Someone had a thread a few days ago with the hit, but here it is

he should stay...he needs to a few things to work on....they guy is the best we have still lacks a few things that could make him a great player at the next level...

he will stuggle at the next level with HUGE TEs and tackles...something he does now at this level...

4th round at best...he should stay but see a lot of reasons why he will not....

He will end up as a 2nd rounder IMO

No way..he is not in the top 100 of tacklers in CFB...he is not a tackling machine like all you think he is...he is a good solid LB that has yet to even top 70 tackles in a season..
he has avg is his career like 7 tackles a game...he misses tackles and assignments more than he should...is a pro material absolutely but not a 2nd rounder most guys with his production and size are 3-6 rounds...

I am being selfish and want him back...to be truthful

I've noticed a pregnant blonde haired girl at the past couple games wearing an official DP jersey. I'm thinking he leaves. Especially if theres a baby on the way. I know many kids do it this day and age, but I couldn't imagine having a newborn baby and juggling college classes and football.

after the NFL seems him destroy the combine workouts he could be a late 1st round pick this year IMO

But i hope he stays another year.... having a baby doesnt have to be a reason to leave 1 year early for the NFL.

I bet he stays.....he saw the mistakes his teamates made two years ago. Al made sure the younger kids learned from those mistakes. He projects around second-third round.....I say closer to the third. It will be a tough choice but I think he'll stay. Another great year next year, he jumps into 1st round discussion.

That is the case with him.

He will go to the combine, run mid 4.5-low 4.6 weighing 240 and teams will love him. He has produced at a high level over the last 2 and a half years when healthy.

Awesome for him, sucks for us......

WOW. Be happy for the kid, he gave his blood as a Cane and stuck with the program under the circumstances of the black cloud.

WOW what? Its the right decision especially if he has a kid on the way, but it doesnt mean I cant and most Canes cant wish he would stay. Losing a talent like Perryman, especially with our LB situation, is gonna sting.

The extra time in the weight room showed its results on that play, beautiful tackle, from another CGHS LB.

I can see that.....I wish him nothing but they best..lets hope he makes that stock go up this week...

Take away the UF game and he hasnt been a constant standout. Obviously he's better than our others but we're not looking at dan morgan here. He's also undersized for the pros. I think he should definitely stay but I never know what guys think nowadays.

Alot of that depends on what he does this week. Scouts want to see you do it when the lights are on. If he is tryna to get that check, he needs to show out on Sat. He **** sure did against UF.
