he's not great in coverage, most LBs arent, but he definitely excels at everything else you expect from a top LB.

Semifinalist Butkus Award nominee is making a strong push to be a finalist.

He's been a disappointment this year outside of the Florida game.

No.. The kid is the most consistent player we have on D. Just because you don't hear his name called 100x a game doesn't mean he isn't playing very well. Also it would help if we had a half decent front

I'm not saying he's played terrible. He's been decent. I expected better than decent.

There was a thread about this 2 days ago and 20 people said this and now they're quiet.

As far as I'm concerned nobody had a good game against FSU.

**** a silver lining.

Denzel Perryman was making play after play in the FSU game in run support. He had a good game, the only thing he didnt do like he did against Florida was cause a turnover.

Can't tell Franchise that, he didn't think Perryman showed up like he was suppose to. What else did he need to do. How bout passing blame on others who decided not to suit up on defense. Mainly:

Chickillo: 2 total tackles
Renfrow: 3 total tackles
OP: 2 tackles
L Robinson: 1 tackle 2 assist

Matter of fact only DP and Green had tackles for losses from the guys upfront. Highsmith and Gunter had the other two. Our only sack also came from Highsmith. Again DP did **** near everything he could. He showed up and he played!

Some of you that are saying DP has been horrible need to jump off the ledge already. Teams have been keying in on DP and making sure they get him blocked, and he still fights through blocks and makes tackles. The guy is a WLB with the nose to the ball of a MLB. Pete eluded that he's gone after this year. I really hope he stays but he's definitely ready for football on Sundays. The only thing holding him back from being a day 1 pick is height and that's not going to change if he sticks around for his senior year.
