I don’t know anything about him other than the stat line. He looks like a pretty good passer. Doesnt seem to be much of a runner but not that important in an Air Raid offense. Plus he’s only a sophomore.

Yeah between him or Hoover I’d choose Hoover. Need a qb who gets the ball out quickly and accurately.

I guess the question is which one sucks less

It's because of their potential. Every team wants a Cam Newton, Michael Vick, Lamar Jackson.

Richardson at Ufag, Drones at VT, Milroe at Bama, and a list of other big athletes at QB.

The hope is they are great QBs that happen to also be great athletes instead of what they are which is great athletes trying to be a mediocre QB.

Nobody is going to be like Cam. Big no on beck. But who are you going to get that has experience and can run the offense. We will run more next year. No way to replace everything we are losing from this(QB, top 3 WRs, leading TE, and possibly RB)

No way they roll with Williams next year. So that leaves Ewers or Mendoza unless they are tampering with someone else

Put Mac jones on vandy, miss st, UTSA and whoever else you dogged on do they lift those teams up?

Yes. That same Mac Jones. The one that was lifted up by the talent around him (1st and 3rd round running backs, 2 top 10 drafted receivers (including the heisman winner) and another 2nd rounder, Joe Moore award oline (all 5 of which would make All-SEC in their career, and included both the Outland and Rimington winners in 2020)

Unless the rest of that team is walking through the door, I’m good on “Mac Jones Types”. It’s not an exaggeration to say roughly half his touchdowns came from having all day for Devonta Smith to put a double move on someone and lob it up to him 10 yards behind the defense.

Mac Jones won a national championship and is an NFL QB…… If we get a qb like that we’d be in great shape

The verdict is In with him as an NFL BUST of a 1st rounder who failed to lift his team up
