Junior Seau gameplan when he was with the Fins. just have him blitz the QB, he’s not going to run with TEs or make open field tackles. Maybe he lucks into tackling the RB while rushing the QB
 
25 is not a corner. 1 is getting picked on in space , he also takes awful angles. 3 is not an every down Dt against good competition. He’s a De playing inside. If it’s not third down or a pass down he needs to be at de. The interior DL needs help . Maybe use some bear front or using some of the things we used last year. But teams will run inside if we don’t adjust. These guys want to rush the passer but don’t want to earn it by stopping the run.

Harris did, barrow did and so did alston. Really need all 3 to be minor and also bain to return. Defense cannot afford to lose bodies especially at safety and DT
 
Get Vanderbilt players get Vanderbilt results. Richard and Harris are unplayable. Give Stafford a look.

Yup we got wrecked inside. Even Barrow who has been our best DT got manhandled in the run game before he got injured. Mesidor shouldn't be playing DT except on 3rd and long. We don't have a single DT who can take on a double team and not get blown yards off the ball. Heck most of DTs got blown off the ball with 1 VT OL blocking them. Like on the touchdown run when Kiko missed the tackle he's gotta make the tackle, but VT absolutely destroyed our DTs on that play
 
I've had enough of 25, he can take a seat on the bench. Kiko had a bad game I don't think he is a bad player but he has struggled.

Another thing. The formations on this game were way off for whatever reason. A lot of times we only had 5 in the box no wonder we were getting gashed up the middle and on the plays Va tech had the positive advantage in numbers far too often. Guidry didn’t do good this game at all and the tackling was atrocious

I have no idea where are players are it seemed like we were playing with 9 or 10 players.. 5 in box but constantly out leverages and giviing up the edges AND where the **** were the safeties as last line of defense?! How can all of this be true??
 
mobile qb's continue to just ***** us sideways... missed tackling & poor angles tonight were killer... idk how many times we appeared to have a guy contained & then they just run by 5 of us for 8 yards... or we look like we might get a TFL or like 1 yard gain & we miss the first tackle to give up 5..... our defense isn't made or have the make up to grind out drives.... its get a low/negative play early, force a passing down, get a sack, etc etc

was also unfortuante we couldn't sack drones to save our life... he had at least 2-3 throw a completion with our guy wrapped around his waist for first downs...
 
Don't blitz and vacate the mof when you rush in contain.

It's a sub 50%-passer, play coverage and let him make the read. He was late on so many throws and so inaccurate, yet we gave him easy windows to operate.

Defensive playcalling really frustrated me.
