Defensive adjustments going forward

Kiko is not a good LB I’m ready to see what Popo and company got ..also can we try anybody but 25 at corner dude runs like Robocop in space ..Alston def was playing for Vegas tonight have Malik eat some of his snaps
#32 Aguirre was on the field A LOT today.

I think we need to push Porter back to CB and try Stafford or Washington at NB (even though I don't think he's ready) because Richards is terrible.

Our DL especially the interior was getting their **** pushed in the whole game -We were a little better in the second half-

Need Barrow back-We had several guys banged up-

Will see what the injury report is-

I don’t think will see a better front on both sides than VT with the rest of our schedule-

Guidry dialed up some blitz packages in the second half -

That QB was a beast couldn’t get him on the ground until late.

They know they have to get better.

I don’t think he’s been good all year imo id never just react off one game

Also shaq was light years better vs the run
Let's just make this quick.... who's the better overall LB, Shaq or Kiko?

Shaq imo

Both mid in coverage but shaq instincts are WAY better to me, kiko getting schemed up sacks is the only reason this is even a question. Kiko has played in a scheme that makes life easier for lbs, shaq was with manny

Kiko has been our best LB since Perryman.....had a terrible game now he's not good? Lmao ay y'all are hilarious and this is going to be my last defensive response for tonight. The game itself already did enough to my health.
He's had 2 back to back bad games.

And idk if Guidry calling him on a delayed blitz or him freelancing QB Spy but he leaves his Spy role and tries to blitz and gets nowhere

#25 is unplayable. Porter as a slot experiment needs to end,. Assuming Damari is out our options are Meesh/Hill/OJ/Stafford/Washington. Meesh might be best option, but as @Astcloud11 pointed out that could make us worse at safety.

#7 played poorly tonight when he was out there, unsure if he got hurt or benched, but #15 and #20 were better than he was at safety tonight.

Clark and Cook looking like duds inside, and our lack of size (pause) inside got exposed tonight. Moten looked like old Moten, which is to say bad. I'd give #93 some of #5/#57's snaps as he's looked good in garbage time, but since he plays so high not sure he's gonna help us much in run game.

I don't think we can play man like Guidry would like, but we may be even worse in zone. We were in zone on the TD to the TE on their first series (pretty sure #7 blew that coverage).

I was shocked we never had 3 linebackers on the field tonight, except for the halfback pass play. They line up in spread but they're a running team and we coulda used #32 out there more - whether replacing #11 or in a 4-3 when they didn't have 4 WRs. Shoulda made Drowns show that he could exploit the WR/OLB matchup. Going forward #32 needs to play more on running downs.

We miss Bain and Brown badly, but unless we get much better play inside from guys other than #10 that problem likely isn't going away. Slot corner/playing #25 issue is potentially solveable.

We can and obviously should play better on defense than we did tonight, but we will probably be in a couple more shootouts this year. Just need to protect the ball better on offense, cause more turnovers on D, get an occasional 3 and Out, and play better special teams (wewere worlds better on STs than we had been).

Back to back bad games mean he's not good now? Alright. Well long season ahead, we'll see.

Back to back games where he has looked slow, can't tackle and possibly not stay on assignment. That happening for a senior and the leader of the defense ain't good lol he better show up next week

We need Bain and Brown back badly. I see why we're so insistent on landing an elite DB class this cycle, this group is just not good enough.
