defense depth chart post scrimmage

I see our defense definitely being an improvement from last year. Our DT's will be improved with our only loss being Regis plus everyone else is a year older, bigger, and stronger. Hopefully Porter will stay healthy for the entire year. Ivery will provide some nice depth. Our DE's should be about as good as last year if not a little better. Chick should emerge as an All ACC caliber player. There is a little drop off after that but Green, Hamilton, and Hoilett should be solid. Our LB's should be about as good as last year if not a little bit improved with the addition of Buchanon and Perryman a year older. DB's should be much improved both at CB and at S.

Overall I see guys like Perryman and Chickillo becoming impact players. Plus the veterans will be in their 2nd year in the system so they should be improved just from having a better understanding of a somewhat complex system.

This might be one of the worst Miami defenses in recent memory.

Depending on freshmen at every position is not a good thing at all. We're also not big enough along the front seven.

Gonna be a long season.

Can't be worse than last year's D.

This.

Last year was a complete train wreck, but the '07 defense might be the worst thing (not just defense, but all encompassing-THING) I've ever seen.
