I mean that’s the cynical way to look at things but sure.

It can just be as simple as they heard of some hires, but aren’t the ones to break it as it’s not complete or time sensitive.

Not everyone is trying to break news and not everyone is trying to look like an insider. Just take it for what’s it’s worth
 
Just thinking back to names during last DC search, wasn't Anthony Campanile mentioned then. Haven't heard much about him since leaving the dolphins

Sounds like a good candidate to me. I'd absolutely want someone he's really comfortable with at LB coach too though.

Guidry was very well thought of 2 years ago as a rising coach. He was absolutely due and going to get a P4 job. No question. I talk occasionally with someone in the business and he told me at the time he absolutely loved the Guidry hire, that he was very well thought of in the industry and people were very impressed with him.

I'm starting to think we're just cursed. Watch Jaden Harris go win the Thorpe Award next year.

It is an interesting phenomena with coaches being heralded then fail multiple years under one regime.

It wouldn't surprise me if Guidry lands somewhere else and does a good job. His defense was trash this season but not entirely it was all on him.

Terrible DB play this season but yet we have DBs transferring to UCLA, UGA and Wisconsin thus far. Something doesn't compute.
